Sounds normal to me. Mines sound similar and from what I’m hearing, these Coyotes are just loud engines.

Really hard to tell anything from cell phone audio in the engine compartment.

One thing that most modern engines have that’s loud is the high pressure injectors that sound something between a sewing machine and a diesel engine.

It’s one of those things that you just need to get used to and then if you’re hearing sounds, something might be off. Especially if it’s irregular or only coming from one cylinder bank.

Yeah I never thought to listen to my engine prior to installing a UPR catch can and their billet PCV interchangeable valve. Then I started my engine up and was getting paranoid because it sounded like I was hearing a vaccum leak coming from my engine bay. No codes or anything like that but it was all in my head because after I took it all back off and returned everything to stock, I heard the same exact noise. ??? Then I calmed down and reinstalled everything. I just hit 10K miles on my dash and second full synthetic oil change and my coyote is running just fine!

I used to own a hemi so I’ve always listened. If you listen in the beginning of the video you hear a weird sound. Not sure how to explain it but it seems to stop when the climate controls are turned off.

Sounds about normal to me, when I start mine cold and stand in front it makes a lot of noise.
