2021 5.0 screw 4x4 3.73, all stock. I’m mostly city, some highway (only when we go on trips). 2300 mile average is 16.5 mpg. My auto stop/start has basically never worked because my battery SOC is always too low. I would say I’m 15-16 city and 20-21 highway at 75 mph. All in normal mode. This seems to be in line with Fuelly records, and most of those probably have the 3.31 gearing.

Put it in ECO mode and lock it out in 7th gear max. It’ll spend significantly more time in 4 cylinder mode. You’ll easily get 20+MPGs.
I get about 18 city, 20 highway @70mph. On 55mph back roads, I get 23 all day and I’m on 35s.
The 5.0 is very happy to cruise in 7th at 1600 to 2000 rpms with eco on.

The largest detractors to good fuel mileage are driving style, tire psi, stop/go traffic and warming your truck up before driving it.
I’m getting 14.8mpg after 2000 miles on my 24 5.0 with 35s on. What could be causing this discrepancy?

I average a little over 15 mpg on E85 3:73 gears. My drive is very hilly.

In my new 2wd with 3.73 gear using 93 octane, I was able to average 21 mpg hand calculated in sport mode driving from Maryland to Dallas. I was driving the speed limit or beyond occasionally shifting down to 7th.
