So if understand correctly, your were in 4hi when pulling back on to concrete (dry concrete?) and turning right? If so it's possible you messed up a CV and it's going to eventually leave the chat whichever on it is. A bad CV will do what you describe of no noises going straight, but makes noise...
From my understanding and personal experience, the hazard button cycle is for relearning after a tire rotation. When swapping wheels you have to do the brake pedal, ignition cycle process to learn new sensors.
Depending on where you live and what you use your truck for they are priceless for not letting your wheel wells get ate to sh#t, and as other have mentioned, accumulation of crap around your frame there.

From what I've read through the forums I fully agree with your statement.
Not sure which update it was recently, but a prior update caused my stereo to remain on uncomfortably longer than it used to upon shutting the truck off and getting out. And now it's back to shutting off as soon as I open...
Funny, my truck I was the opposite a few months ago. The truck would always have the heat, heated seat and steering wheel going when it wasn't winter here anymore and surely wasn't needed. First world problems I guess.
