How certain are you that’s a platinum? Idk how you can tell

I agree... there is more shown that supports its NOT a Platinum, than it is... rims, tires, lack of applique or ANY designation on the back that says its a Platinum.....
Just cuz writer says it is, doenst mean it is... and thats on the heels of the last"sneak peak" showing a Platinum with Platinum letters on the hood....

So evidently they saved a few parts by eliminating the motorized air dam. I know that thing was controversial, but holy crap this gigantic fixed one looks ridiculous.

And it may... but we just saw "Platinum" on the hood of the last one and considering the history of Lims and Plats, they havent ever, (that I can recall), had 18" rims...?
And honestly all of this is a dart throw since none of us have any "Official" release of info.
Part of the reason people opt for some of these trims is for the badging and such. If you could order a sup'ed up Stang in 69\70 that didnt say "Boss 302", it may not have had the same desirous "want" from some people... Same with a, 69 Z/28, Chev BelAir, etc....

Makes no sense to delete the halo's rear plastic. It's just too cheap and different. Every 'leak' we've seen is nothing more than a rando bastard they've thrown together for testing and possibly even public feedback. As for grilles and hoods / light revamp, yeah, we're seeing the real things just lacking a little something possibly. What we're not seeing is complete packages and that's not by accident.

I do like that grille.

Not sure what is going on at bottom it does still appear to be two piece air dam but stuck in the lower position.

I think it's a 2 piece air dam myself. Perhaps the camera is a high end with super fast shutter speed. It may looked stopped. But on a road?

That's just like the current active air dam, and definitely on a FWY. I-94 out of Detroit heading west.

It's my best guess based on the information given. It has the same hood and grille from the previous leaked Platinums.

The leaked Lariat BAP has a different hood, grille, and black 'F-150' insert letters on the tailgate. See below.

I’m wondering if the dual exhaust is going to be available on only the 5.0 going forward? That Lariat BAP appears to be a 5.0 with the front blank off piece and no badging (and has duals out the rear), the Plat BAP is clearly an EcoBoost with the badge and intercooler opening and only has one exhaust pipe.

Those taillamps look like they may be the same shape. It will be cool if those of us with xlt or lower tails will be able to retrofit the new ones. They will likely be expensive but I am interested to see all the different choices they release.
