I have told my friends for several years that Ford trucks would have to be pure junk before I gave up on them due to the keypad. I want the keypad. Fords decision to remove them as a factory option is one of the most stupid idiotic decisions I’ve ever know a major company to make.
If we remove the cost factor from the equation, it would be pretty cool to stick one of those keypads on the passenger side too ?

Do all the 24 Platinum's with 702a come with HUD? Not seeing it on the window stickers?
look at the dash pics to verify. Hud has 250 style dash without the notch between IPC/APIM

Thank you sir! I dug up the old 2024 build site and that seems to help a lot. I noticed many in existing inventory have the scales and smart hitch removed. Was that a delete on some, maybe same with the pro tailgate, don't see that tailgate on many of remaining as well.

All great information much appreciated. I actually used the step from time to time, I'll have to think about being without it. That being said, if I wait for the 25s, no guarantee they want delete other items along the way. Modern problems!
If you can find a Job 1 2024, you will get the tailgate step. The Job 2s are the only ones with the PAT. I have a Job 1 KR with the old school step. I wouldn't hesitate to switch to the PAT. As said, there is a retractable center step that comes out below the hitch that provides you a quicker and easier route into your bed than the tailgate step. Just open the door on the PAT and use your foot to pull out the step and 1 - 2 your in the bed.

As for the massage seats, you get them. It just isn't on the window sticker because it is standard (sometimes they put the standard, sometimes not):

That's helpful, thanks. Most of the truck door stickers I'm seeing have dates of 5/24 and 6/24. That explains it.

I have a 2024 KR with PAT. Can I add the retractable center step? Any additional info you can provide, please?

Thanks!

yeah, it is just a dealer added accessory. Any Ford dealer can add it.

My 23 Platinum, not my fault :-( Sucks so bad! My truck had 18k miles, MINT! All airbags deployed, front of truck took it hard and saved me. Waiting for verdict if totaled or not. I want another Platinum. Seeing 24's pretty cheap now. 25's open for order but 3 months out for delivery.

Questions:
1) Looks like most 24's lack the tailgate step, I'm seeing only "Pro Access" tailgate on most lot models. Could I add step later? Thoughts on the Pro Access?

2) I don't see the term "multi-contour" on 24' Plat Window Stickers, most videos show they have massage though?

3) Thought on Max Recline? Do you get massage if truck has max recline?

4) Any major 24' specific issues I should know about? Had Max Tow Axle Bolt issue with my 23', only issue though. I'm an EcoBoost guy.

5) Any reason I should hold off for 25' over 24'? Seems to be no difference when building 24' on Ford site.

6) Any other major deletes on the 24'? Gonna miss my BAP Applique

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

So, I've been told my MINT 23 Platinum with 18k miles is totaled. The sticker was $82,230. I've attached KBB. My insurance is offering $57k. We're getting very little response from Travelers, the other drivers' insurance. Travelers say they are still determining fault. FHP found her at fault and I even submitted a video that clearly shows at fault. Trying to get the value up from 57, any tips guys? I submitted my window sticker to the appraiser to ensure they included all the options.

The rear bumper changed for 2024 to increase the size of the "step" on the actual bumper above the hitch. To me, I would try it, but you might not even need the retractable one.

Yeah, start going to a chiropractor if you're not already for the back pain. Tell them it's fair if they replace it with a model year newer, and that's the least you're willing to accept. If they want to go to court over it you're more than happy to.

The values on the higher trim level 23s are horrible.

Covid days! Pay more, wait longer, get less, and less resale ? Loved the truck though. There's really no other option than a Ford truck when you consider today's trucks. That's me anyway.

Oh do not get me wrong I will never purchase anything but a Ford truck, but I already regret buying the 24'. It's been problematic... it lacks options that my previous trucks had. I wish I would have purchased used instead. Dealership told me that the 22's are your best bang for your buck. I understand prices have to go up, but I feel Ford has been making some pretty poor decisions here lately.
