I'm definitely planning to get a separate set of wheel/tires for winter. My King Ranch came with 20" wheels, and I have confirmed that 18" wheels works fine for it (clears the calipers). If the Platinum uses the same set of brakes, the 18" wheels should work for you as well.

I have a couple of updates... I've tried a few different pairs of sunglasses and the HUD is clearly visible with most of them. The Sync 4 Navigation and Apple Maps directions (via Car Play) are shown in the HUD. Waze and Google Maps are not!
