2024 Platinum Black Appearance Package Uncamouflaged. I'm disappointed that is has no black Platinum letters on hood, no dual exhaust (Lariat BAP has), and small 20" wheels (was expecting 22's).

I’m glad I have my 22 PB BAP. I’m adding the dual exhaust once I get some time (I have all the parts). I wonder if I’ll be able to swap out the grille from the 24 to my 22 ?

I’ll probably catch a lot of shit for this one, but I’m VERY disappointed in the lack of black appliqué on the tail gate.

Read the article and it said Platinums and BAP will have an applique. Have yet to see one "Platinum" with an applique.
I understand Abe is all in on this being a Platinum, but literally the ONLY thing saying it is, is the side badges and grille.
The article also mentions a Heritage trim and excludes the Limited... so is that a replacement for the Limited?

Confirms that they kept the two-piece air dam, or at least didn't replace it with a gigantic one-piece design as shown in the earlier red truck pics.

Again, every truck captured with dual exhaust seen so far appears to be the 5.0. They all have the front lower grille blank off plate. I’ve yet to see an EcoBoost with duals on the refresh driving around. I don’t think it has anything to do with it being a Platinum.

Here's a Lariat BAP without a blank off plate that still has the dual exhaust. It could be that only non-powerboosts have the option for dual exhaust.

True. I think they are purposely playing with us... the "Platinum" on the hood of the one platinum truck is the first and only Ive seen of all these other "Platinums". Its also the only one that had 22" wheels.
Who knows, like I said, everything is speculation until official release.
Im old school, remember when this was going to be the Mustang in '62?

Honestly the Limited doesn’t make much sense to me, add the features to the Platinum as optional and let you get any powertrain you want. They have 3 halo trims right now and it’s just too much, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited are all similar in content. Platinum and Limited are really targeted to the same buyer, the KR at least is targeted to a separate demographic.

I always saw the platinum as the top trim F150 and the limited at the “Ford Mark LT”

I always saw the Limited as the rich grandpa truck. I always get the platinums with the 6.5" bed. Work and comfort. Hard to put my ladder rack on a 5.5 with wood hanging over the windshield....
