2024 platinum plus pro access tailgate

It would be disappointing to see the 2024 Platinum (especially 703A Platinum Plus) with the same tailgate as the Lariat. The only acceptable alternative would be the inclusion of the Satin Aluminum Finish Tailgate Appliqué, similar to what was seen on the 2023 Limited. Additionally, a good alternative would be if they allowed a replacement tailgate program at Ford dealerships at minimal or no cost.

FYI - I read the whole thread and see that some people are predicting scheduling. Here are my notes: Order was confirmed by Ford via email Fri, Sep 15, 2023. My order was priority code 19.
I was notified on Fri, Dec 15, 2023 that the truck is slated to begin production during the week of January 22, 2024. VIN was provided at that time. While I have a VIN, there is not a window sticker available yet.

I'd like to have the Pro Access tailgate but it's not necessarily a show stopper. Will continue to watch forums and consult with dealer (Grainger Ford) concerning likelihood of production as a Job 2 order.

How does the 703A "Platinum Plus: conicide with 'Limited' as far as only coming in the 145" wheelbase? Will 703A be available in 157"?

For the 2024 models, Ford does not offer a F150 "Limited" trim. Instead, the Platinum model has three trim levels...Base, Platinum High and Platinum Plus. The top dog is the $10k option package called Platinum Plus (703A). The Platinum Plus option essentially transforms a base Platinum model (a $75k MSRP) to what in 2023 was known as a Limited (a $85k MSRP). BTW..."Limited" trim levels are still available in the F250 and larger trucks.... just not in the F150s.

If my truck shows up with that gaudy bling tailgate appliqué….not sure I would take it. No interest in the new GM wannabe tailgate, not sure what the appeal is?

Good question - I was unsure as well but after research, I've found that multi-countour seats are apart of the max recline feature.
