I almost made it through. I updated a chain of GWM, APIM, IPC, and TCU until all of those were gone. I only had one hiccup where as it was validating the updates and showed about 8 "Pass", all of a sudden it had a failure. I chose the option to run the validation check and everything passed.

I am stuck though. I had an update on PSCM that also would run the IPMA update. It finished the PSCM, and when it started the IPMA, it said the batter SOC was too low. It said it could continue but might fail the update, or I could cancel. I cancelled, bumped the amps on the charger up from 10 to 20., did some other updates while the battery charged up.

The PSCM module shows Gray in FDRS and one update is left for IPMA. When I run the IPMA update, it finishes quickly and tells me the following error. I do have a IPMA from Ebay that was PMI'd and configured for auto park assist. I'm not sure if that is the problem or it is because it didn't run the IPMA update along with the PSCM update. I'm thinking this will need some help from @Jesse-Infotainment.

I'm done for the night and will try again in the morning. I haven't driven it yet, but it does have power steering and it does not have any check engine lights on the dash.

Why are you changing your IPMA?

Thanks Jesse. It's my first time with FDRS. I'll try to find where that is and run it. Anything complicated with doing it??

That because YOU SHOULD NOT USE FDRS ON SUNDAY. Ford does maintenance on the back end systems.
@UNCGrad ’s post was from a SATURDAY and she was using invalid credentials. Server operations had nothing to do with the log in problem.

Seems like Sundays have been fine for the past 6 months or so but there was definitely a time where it was down frequently

Thanks Jesse. I'll give that a try. FDRS server looks unavailable right now.

I'm curious what happens if the server goes down as FDRS is doing the update. I can see there's the download, installation, and then updating the server. If I can get through the download, and assuming the installation does not contact the server, does it cause problems if the database update fails? Or is it just too risky to try a 2.5 hour update on Sunday? I bought my FDRS license Saturday, so from what I read, it will expire Monday night.

I'm in now. In the toolbox tab, click the IPMA icon on the left and this menu pops up on the right. The PMI is there toward the bottom of the list. Remember to select "no" when it asks if it is the original module.

The reason I ask is because I just tried to do a simple one. CMR. Camera module.
Got 1/3 into it and it failed. Twice.
