I am in corporate education—design, delivery, and project management. I worked for one of the three wireless carriers for 29 years and joined a company that interconnects all wireless companies and enterprise messaging worldwide in February.

retired!
I can say that about my whole career, but like you it seems to have worked-out great (y) :)
yeah, I've gotten to do a bunch of interesting things. About all that stayed in common was maxing out the available retirement accounts.

A physics degree with math and philosophy minors, working for a startup part of that, a naval misadventure (I showed up to be a nuclear engineer, they said that what they really needed was pilots, and I was a 20 year old boy with no chance of saying no--even though I have no coordination), a law degree, my own practice, shutting that down for the Ph.D. (in both Economics and Statistics), a few years as a professor, back to law to pay tuition for my kids, a couple years each in-house and with a couple of guys almost enough younger to be my kids, and then settling into bankruptcy during the mortgage crisis.

It pays for my Cadillac problem.

And the next three days driving for the Mecum auction, kind of specializing in the pre-war stuff.

"Corrections" was misspelled, so it needed a correction. I thought you were making a joke by misspelling it.
No, I just have fat fingers.

In the Corrections world, we're used to all sorts of comments about our jobs. Most, not very nice. Sorry for getting defensive.
