That's my reaction, too.
When being used solely as a generator, an ICE could be set to run only at it's optimal speed--either it produces juice, or it doesn't.
Possibly that would mean running turbos all the time, but I'd be surprised.
It could also run on something other than the Otto cycle...
Long ago, one of the predatory hoverers actually managed to approach fast enough to open the car door--and I mean of the one I was driving.
We pulled it shut and drove off . . .
I dunno. They put me to sleep for those.
Hmm, maybe I could get anesthesia for while I deal with the dealership?
🤔
no need to obsess, ye silly snowflake. If it's there, it shows through, while attempting to "appear" shows it's absence.
We'll ho0ld you to that when the '27 has the "Floofy Woofy" trim . . .
In the 80s, the entry ford care was an "L", followed by "LX" and "GLX". GLX was eventually changed...
bah.
if you can't find your drink in the dark, you're not thirsty enough to deserve it!

I put on a single wiper and move the other, but that's not frugality but the reality of desert living in Las Vegas: I know that the new one will be spoiled by the climate long before the next rain. So I keep some around, but only put on one when I get enough rain to need it.
I actually got...
That wasn't about ford production, though.
The only paint that dried fast enough to accommodate the speed they were popping T's off the line was only made in black!
"Leaf On Windshield Shut Me Down" sounds like a maudlin 70s pop song.
However, the description of the failure and recovery of a truck over a little leaf sounds more like a country song!
I'm in the same position.
But it is fun to have actual numbers off the cuff when those half-trained qualifiers come to the door!
I'd have to be able to go off-grid for $15,000-$20,000 for solar to make any sense.
I'll miss my swamp cooler when I move out; I just paid a $108 electric...
Living in Las Vegas, I'd jump at the chance to have this mix.
Tires die of UV dry rot long before tread life. Actually, we don't even consider tread life around here.
It would be great to find out that a country of origin lasted a bit longer.
I was actually shocked to find out that a tire on...
AFAIK, it's only for totaled vehicles.
it's for when the payoff based on vehicle value is less than the outstanding loan.
Do *NOT* get it from a dealer, or as part of your loan. It costs almost nothing as part of your insurance.
however, if you're already putting it in for your house, the marginal cost for charging your car that way is relatively small (the difference between the system for the house, and any extras [including wear' for charging the car while you're at it)
[OT: I looked at a Tesla roof for the kind of...
