landscape and construction biz owner. but really i sweep up messes and go to the dump lol.

I love this thread and seeing everybody’s careers, it really makes sense why this forum is such a valuable think tank of knowledge and experience.

Currently a VP of Product for an online wholesale and retail company supporting the camper van conversion industry. We don’t have any products of our own (yet). I carefully review and scrutinize the product lines we sell in order to provide our customers with the knowledge and support to make the best product decisions for their customers. This includes designing test protocols for third party independent labs to perform. One test I think that has really helped people make educated decisions is the 12V DC powered rooftop air conditioning tests. I also handle all of the tech support for the retail side.

Previously, I was a product manager at Dometic and responsible for bringing to life the center console refrigerator available for the gen 13 and gen 14 F-150s. DC powered rooftop A/Cs and refrigerators for Class 7 & 8 trucks were also part of my portfolio.

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, I was a product manager and design engineer at Thule making roof racks for vehicles in North and South America. The coolest vehicle I’ve ever racked was easily the Lamborghini Huracan, which appeared on the cover of the October 2015 edition of MotorTrend Magazine for their 30 days of Huracan.

To all who currently serve and veterans, thank you for your service. I was set on joining the Marine Corps out of high school. My father, a Marine and Vietnam Veteran, (in his words) didn’t go to war in a foreign country for me to follow the same path. He agreed that if I didn’t have a job coming out of engineering school and still wanted to join, he’d support it. Your sacrifice and service are the reason we get to pursue dream-like careers.
you guys were probably busy during covid when camping became popular again huh (sorry "overlanding" -__- )
