1. No Boomer knows anything more about WW2 than any other generation after you. You weren't alive for it. You either learned about it through stories or history books just like the rest of us. It's why you're called Boomers. You're products of the Baby Boom that happened after WW2 ended. Stop...
My truck cost $45k. If they can make this thing $75k, it would take me 16.5 years of buying gas at my current rate to even make up the difference in vehicles. (30k difference, I buy $50 gas every 10ish days (an average)).
And you still gotta buy gas for this thing.
They take a while sometimes to register. I put new TPMS on my '19 Platinum wheels and the passenger rear wheel took about 2 days to register with the computer. Now, there's no issues whatsoever. Got warnings the whole time.
Them falling apart is one thing. That is garbage.
People acting like they're near death because of them is ridiculous. Maybe, the problem isn't the tire.
Aren't you supposed to replace the ATF at 30-35k miles?
Could that be why your temps are higher?
Mine has only hit 190 once that I've seen. 9500k on mine.
My first one was within the first 2 months too. Garden hose over the bed to rinse the roof on the first home car wash. Luckily it didn't get the paint noticeably to anyone than me.
If there is one complaint me and my dad have about these newer trucks is how easily they scratch.
Is it the aluminum body? I have a tiny scratch near the door handle and it's literally from my key touching the truck. It's unnoticeable to anyone else, but it's not alone. I have about 3 or 4 over...
You're asking questions a 16 year old with no mechanical knowledge would ask.
Whatever will you do if you ever have to go over a speed bump?
Trucks are designed to be abused. Under extremely harsh conditions. A 4 inch drop will not do anything to almost all passenger cars. To a fullsize truck...
So, you've never seen a truck commercial where they're crawling over boulders, not 4 inch curbs? Never seen a truck on the road towing ginormous trailers at 75mph and wondered how their transmission is still intact? Never seen a truck fly over RR tracks just to keep speeding on for 20+years? In...
I'm asking your age because you're either a young kid that knows nothing about vehicles, which is one thing and worthy of us taking it lighter on you. Or you're older, and you're just an idiot who's here to ask dumb ass questions because there is no way anyone who has been driving for any decent...
My wife is more frugal than me, so I have no worries.
When we got married in 2002, my wife asked to see my checkbook register as we put our accounts together. I laughed and handed it to her. She asked what was funny. I said she'd find out. She opened it and the last transaction I'd written down...
