13.3 right after I shut it off. 15 when running.
Mine does the same thing. Going to check the BCM connections tonight now to see if there's an improvement. Glad I checked back on this thread.

I just noticed that after getting my X2 battery installed. My resting voltage was 12.4 with the OEM auxiliary battery (immediately after turning the ignition off).

Only modification was a small amount of trimming to the positive terminal cover to give some clearance for the cable. I haven’t touched the top cover yet since I’m not sure where my final mounting location will be.

4awg cables hooked up and slid the battery into the adjacent compartment and now my resting voltage shows 13.2 after turning everything off. I’m impressed so far.

I’ll keep an eye on it and report back after I get some more time with this setup.

My 22 PB has already had one OEM battery replaced after constantly going into deep sleep mode, despite being charged/BMS reset. That was just over a year ago, and the new OEM H7 replacement the dealer put in is starting to exhibit all the same signs. Should I swap in a new, better H7 battery before adding a new LiFePO4 to keep everything operational long-term?

Napa has a very solid choice for a H7

You’re the only one that can answer that. My stock battery is working fine, but if your new one doesn’t test out, Napa or Walmart has a great replacement for it.

As far as the LFP (parallel or replacing the OEM battery) that is totally up to you. You need to have a small amount of DIY skill to complete that task though.

It was totally worth it for me so far. With a 10-year free replacement, I have a decent amount of confidence that the build quality is solid on the X2 LFP.......but I will continue to keep an eye on my voltage monitor to watch for signs of early degradation.

I still have the original factory underhood battery in my 2022 (April 2022 build) Powerboost. The LFP Auxiliary seems to have given it some new life? ?

Note that I have also never "reset" the BMS to date. Although the truck has had BMS updates over the ~3 years it's been in service.

that's impressive indeed. do you put the truck on a battery tender when not driving for a day or two?

I used to. I had to because the voltage would drop below 12.3 and I used that as my threshold for intervening BEFORE the AGM would experience the kind of harm an AGM would if it was depleted too much.

But I don't think that's going to be necessary any more. Or it doesn't look like it is going to be since after 8 days of sitting the voltage hasn't dropped measurably at all.

Resting voltage on January 19th, the last time truck was driven

January 27th. 8 days later sitting in the barn. That's simply amazing.

It's been 2 years since I'd put the first LFP into my truck. It just works

That's a nice 12.9/12.8 resting voltage for Powerboost AGMs.

I'm thinking of doing the same setup as you shared above. Out of curiosity, how long did your 4 AWG battery cables have to be?

I built some that were approximately 18” long, but you could probably just buy some battery cables at Walmart a local Napa.

Do you happen to remember what size lug opening you needed? I want to make sure the cable I get fits the terminals properly.

Somewhere around 1/4” but I just used stuff I had in my garage, so I just remember that it fit 4awg.
