Its promising. I'm not getting the battery saver message when I shut off the truck anymore.
When it does it skews my my data when doing module replacement. The truck wouldn't read my usb when I shut it off. I think. Now it does.
But to be able to remote start in negative 5 morning is a big win.

Short term update with my X2 parallel setup. Should I start a separate thread?

When this battery is below 32°F it will not accept a charge in order to preserve itself. But once the BMS sees a temp over 33° or so it will allow the charging to start. And it will charge quickly if needed, I saw as high as 24 amps with 15.2 volts on the battery, but wasn’t able to get a screenshot.

10 year (or 2200 charging cycle) free replacement is what swayed me to buy this battery, but I’m very impressed with the quality. It wasn’t cheap, but I seem to have gotten what I paid for………so far.

it won't charge under 32 degrees F? Not a good solution for us Alberta guys - parking on the street and we hit deep negatives (celsius anyways) for months at a time.... still looking for a solution

I live in cold climate (Wisconsin, it's -14 today) and just ordered this battery as it has a low temp shut off.

I've done the underhood battery dance, the under seat battery dance, and the fan at setting 5 dance several times now. Heck I've had my seat heater on since October. The only way I can keep the truck out of sleep mode is by resetting the BMS, but then it goes back to the same situation after several days. I drive 18 minutes (13 miles) one way to and from work each day with the truck and am sick of it going to sleep and not having interior lights.

I've got a '23 Powerboost and the only reason I haven't sent it to the dealer yet for warranty is I fear it'll just be a waste of time right now because they'll tell me the batteries are fine. Plus my dealer is a half hour away and my time is worth more than the cost of the batteries right now.

I thank you @HammaMan and @Snakebitten for all your posts and information on this subject and I assume all responsibility for anything I do to my truck.

I'm up here in Alberta, with a 21' powerboost. also battling the battery issues. Snakebitten has been kind enough to help me a bit, but i've been fighting this for the last 3 years!

keep us posted on the battery solution under the seat. I'd love to find a "f150gen14" approved solution for the colder temps!

yeah, that’s why I posted, I didn’t want anyone to buy one based on incomplete info.

Any LFP without an option to warm it up like mentioned previously would probably be a bad idea in northern climates.

I haven’t had an issue because even though this has been an extremely cold week here in the Ozarks, I always see the battery warm up on drives over 15-20 minutes after sitting all night. The battery will show a temperature of 11°F on the app with temps down -3° ambient.

Even on four short drives where the X2 didn’t warm up enough to charge, it never dropped below 13.2 volts/80%.

I have a Bluetooth 12v monitor coming since the last one I ordered was lost by Amazon, that should give me a better idea of exactly how this battery is working with my pickup.

I have never had to uninstall/reinstall the app.
I DO sometimes have to manually override which vehicle the app connects to because there are 3 vehicles with the same Bluetooth voltmeter installed.

As for the app downloading the logs? I think there either has to be a quantity of data available, or a certain amount of time since the last "sync/download", before it will sync again.

So it connects (blue chain in the upper left corner), gives you a real-time voltage reading, but doesn't start the %download progress on the screen?

Note: red chain link in the image. Not connected

Have you tried refreshing the app instead of deleting? You probably know this but you also have to be within the range of the Bluetooth battery monitor. 10 to 20 feet usually but 10 feet has always been the sweet range for me.

In open air, with that voltmeter sitting under the hood, I connect from inside the RV and the truck 20' away or more.

But I have the voltmeter on top of the battery on all the vehicles.

Currently I'm sitting in the barndominium in a Lazyboy while babysitting urchins. My truck is in the barn, separated by a sheet rock wall and a glass window. Maybe 40' away.

Connected just fine and it downloaded a few days logs.

Since I was checking anyway, it's been 5 days since I last started the Powerboost. And it's been during the Texas Freeze 2025. 17F overnight and many hours below freezing.

I love seeing that little LFP stand up to the shortcomings of the factory low voltage system. It's outstanding!

On my forth day and my truck hasn't gone into saver mode. But yesterday I did get "failed to start" on my ford pass app. It wasn't from battery level. Don't know.

Today was fine. I get nervous when it takes so long for ford pass to initiate the start. Are the servers on Mars? I'm running 4.32.1 ford pass app.

Ever since rugdraw suggested to clean the connectors on the BCM the Reported voltage has been stable.

I have seen a cloud based FordPass command fail when the app hasn't refreshed recently. If I then force a refresh and the app's timestamp confirms it, the next attempt succeeds.

Although I should point out that a FordPass refresh can momentarily drop the AGM voltage as much as 3/10ths a volt.

Super handy tool. Ran some errands today and was cool to see how the 12v system responds, even though I don’t have any data for the OEM setup.

I don't know if I have ever said in a post to anyone "I told you so".
It's not even something that I'm normally prompted to say.

But your description "super handy tool" immediately triggered the phrase in my head. ? That IS what I have been trying to promote.

Those historical graphs are a perfect replay of what is going on. And if it is YOUR graph, you know exactly what you were or were not doing.
After a few days/weeks/months, every scenario has taken place and the graph is the overlay.
You'll know you walked by with the FOB in your pocket at 3:22 pm yesterday. You'll even know that it wasn't you that must have opened the door on the truck in the barn. Later to find out it was your granddaughter looking for her backpack.
