No engine cover on the 2024

I just watched a video on adding a catch-can on an F-150 and the first step was removing the engine cover. My 2024 Powerboost doesn't have an engine cover. Is that something they got rid of?

Everyone thought it was the removal of the BISG to get an additional 50lb of GVWR, but it was really this cover. Isn't that right @Snakebitten and @Samson16 ?

I have a 2021 XLT PB that is a lease. I am turning it in when my 2024 Lariat PB is built. Besides the items listed below, is there anything else that I need to pull off the 2021 to put onto my 2024?

• Engine Cover
• CHIMSL camera (how to get it to work on 2024 is another story...)

If it were me I'd want to swap the taillights. The 2024 taillights are goofy.

Lots of stuff that looks cheaper on the '24s imo.

Frankly, I feel like '21 before the deletes and price increases were the best value.

I get some water on my engine cover (at least after washing it). I'm curious about no cover on 2024.... water will drip right onto the engine?

The engine cover serves no purpose. It’s simply an aesthetics item that adds cost.

Took 6 months to get built and delivered.

The truck lost it diaper and it's engine cover that day. Both are bagged and sitting in the barn.
