I was looking at my cabin fuse box to find a fuse to tap my dashcam directly into the truck. On the diagram it lists a "Electronic Toll Collection Fuse" I don't see anything in the manual about it. Aren't those usually battery powered? I find it odd because there is a fuse in the holder with a...
Which fuse is best to tap into in the interior fusebox for a dashcam. I want to use my Vantrue in parking mode and I can do that by using the rearview splitter like I have been. I guess I need to hook into a hot line.
I'm at 25k right now. From what I hear on this board and others, it should be done around every 30k to 50k. Being this is first time, I figure it is better error on being earlier, considering they might be more breakin metal. I don't trust the 150k interval that Ford says to do it.
He made me think there was a separate in and out plug and they added fluid at the same time they drained it. And no, they would only drop the pan if they replaced the filter. I need to change my engine oil in a week or two. I'll take a closer look at the pan, but I didn't' think there were any...
I stopped by my local Ford Dealer today about a couple questions I had.
I also asked him how much a transmission fluid change since I am about 10k from that. He told me it is $399 for a drain and fill. I asked about the filter and and he told me they don't do that normally as part of the...
Okay I just geeked out with my OBD and ChatGPT.
I recently took a camping trip from Washington state to Utah. On several parts of my trip south I was recording my OBD data which created CSV files to my iCloud storage. Out of curiosity I had ChatGPT tell me what, when and where my highest...
I've never replaced the oil plug crush washer when changing my oil and I figure I should start. Are these the ones the 3.5 Eco Powerboost uses?

I was just looking at how much of a pain it appears to change the transmission fluid, especially where the dipstick is.
I was thinking I would do my first change between 30k/50k, but then I thought maybe I should suck out a little transmission oil and send it off to Blackstone oil labs for...
Glad your's was an easy fix too. I think my had to do with an update. Shortly after getting in the car, the car screen advertised an update. Maybe I drove in the middle of it.
Update: Okay this is weird...I went out to the truck and now the locks work fine. Very strange. It's good because I couldn't figure out which fuse goes to the keypad and was just going to start pulling them. So for now I am fine.
Let me know if this happens to anyone else?
Thanks
