I've got 16K on my 2024 Lariat PowerBoost. The hybrid mode has been working great until yesterday. Once the engine starts, it now never shuts off. I've done 6 trips on roads where I know when it goes all electric and not once has the electric mode taken over, not even at stop lights. Not faults present.
I have kept this as a watch thread since inception and just reviewed it again. All the wires appear to be securely attached to the starter. What should I look for next? TIA
Update: After checking the wiring to the starter and moving the harnesses around in the process, the PB is working as is should. For now, I am going to make the assumption I may had a poor connection or there is an issue with the wire harness. I will investigate further when this happens again.
Nice to go from 20-22 mpg back to 24-28 mpg with the hybrid working for around home driving.
