New 4.2.2.2 update this morning

Just got the 3.5.3 update today. Adds Alexa and Android Auto fullscreen. The fullscreen is really nice. I wish Alexa would just use the phone data to play stations...

If your phone plan has hotspot included it can!

Just turn your phone’s hotspot on and connect the truck to it. I have an iPhone and I created an automation to turn on my phone’s hotspot anytime CarPlay connects. I’m sure you can do something similar on android

I'll have to check that out. Honestly I'll prababy use Android Auto for music more. It's not a big deal.

Yea I still mostly use CarPlay but it is nice to know I have the option. I also have a Chromecast connected to a Naviks for video on my screen so the automation was originally created for that and using it for my truck/Alexa was an added benefit

#1. How do you know if your system has been updated? I've seen nothing on my screen or on my phone.
#2. Within the last couple of days, my music I have used from my thumb drive has been stuck on one song and if I try to skip to the next song I get a message the the data is not available. Does anyone know what's going on with this. I don't use Apple at all nor do I use Sirius that much (too much talking). I've also not been able to get Alexa to work at all.
Help!!

Yeah, I just now got that update, looks like we're several months behind at this point, but at least maybe they're trying to do something on their end.

Yes, the wording for 4.2.2 and 4.2.2.2 is exactly the same.

Pretty sure the four digit version (4.2.2.2) is '23 MY only. It was for the Mach-E.

That is interesting. I got that exact same OTA on the 18th, but it was numbered 4.2.2. Are the number of the OTA changed, depending on the particular truck?

It is very possible. The info on the OTA thread is a work in progress and is being amended several times a week for accuracy.

Or does he have to intervene to update it to reflect your edits?

Must be nice My 2022 Powerboost is Stuck at Version 3.5.2. Ford Dealer had it a week and said they fixed it. It quit working in November 2022
