  1. New 4.2.2.2 update this morning

#1. How do you know if your system has been updated? I've seen nothing on my screen or on my phone. #2. Within the last couple of days, my music I have used from my thumb drive has been stuck on one song and if I try to skip to the next song I get a message the the data is not available. Does...
  2. Powerboost Things to consider-After Purchase

I put a chip and some other goodies in my 2011 EB. It was putting out 450hp and 560flbt. It did a great job with the trailer and I'm sure my new PB will do just as well pulling. If not, I've found a few goodies for the PB that will increase the hp by 100 and the torque by 90flbs. I built hot...
  3. Powerboost Things to consider-After Purchase

I did make a longer trip (about 35 miles) and did get about 21 MPG on that trip. But most of my trips right now are only about 10 miles or less. I am planning a trip to Wisconsin next month, but I'll be pulling a 6K lb. travel trailer.
  4. Powerboost Things to consider-After Purchase

I think it may because of my altitude. I'm at a mile high. I also only have 600 miles on the truck.
  5. Battery level on a powerboost

I have my new 2022 F 150 Powerboost and would like to know if there is a gauge option for the battery level. I think it would be nice to have the information as to how much that battery is charged.
  6. Which Ford F-150 Engine Is Best? All 5 Powertrains Compared Back-to-Back

If Ford would start putting a supercharger on the 3.5 ecoboost it would produce about the same HP and you would enjoy better fuel mileage than with the 5.0. I asked the factory to add a supercharger to my 2011 Ecoboost but they would not do it. I don't think I will need a supercharger on my...
  7. new to PowerBoost - how to drive it.

I don't think there is a difference between the 22s and 23s. What I'm finding is that the manufacturers have not updated trier year listings. Most 22 parts will fit the 23s.
  8. Powerboost Things to consider-After Purchase

I went from a 2011 Lariat Ecoboost to a 2022 Lariat Powerboost and my insurance went up $300/year. As for milage, I'm getting around 16mpg with the new truck vs 15mpg with old truck in town. Haven't had the new truck on the highway much (yet), but the one time I did, I kept it at 70-75 mph and...
  9. Inside rear tire skidding or briefly locking on low speed turns?

The center of your mode knob is a push button to lock the rear diff. If locked you should see a red four wheel on the bottom left corner of your main display. Push the center of your mode control knob and that red signal should go away. This option is used mostly for rock climbing.
  10. Locking rear driver's seat

I've seen somewhere that you can lock the driver's side rear seat down using the key that came with your f150. Does enyone know if a kit is available to add this to my 2022 f150?
  11. Don't buy rain / wind guards from Geartronics

I smoke small cigars but never in my cars or trucks. I like these for a bit of fresh air. Cracking your windows a bit also helps your AC work better.
  12. Don't buy rain / wind guards from Geartronics

Thanks guys. I found some shatterproof ones on eBay at a decent price. Westin doesn't have in channel and Weather Tech doesn't have them for a 2022 F 150.
  13. Don't buy rain / wind guards from Geartronics

I recently purchased a set of Geartronics in channel Rain guards for my 2022 F 150 Lariat. DON'T BUY THESE. One cracked during install and another broke in the car wash. I would like to know of a better set of rain guards without spending $100 or more. Any suggestions?
