I did it on a regular road within the city that was a single lane and had solid painted lines on both sides of the lane. Had to stop at a few red lights during the cruise which did not affect it. I just stayed on this same road until it finished doing its thing.

That is the latest update for 2022 trucks.
Thanks Javi, can you elaborate on this? I kinda thought the 21-23 were 'the same'. I have a 22 and am at 4.2.4 also. So thats *MY* highest it will go?

Also if you want to look, I am #1FTFW1ED9NFB50297. Thanks in advance.

Mostly the same.

Yea, the 4.3.x updates are only for 2021 trucks. Apparently, whatever these OTA's update, 2022/2023 trucks are already built with it. As far as power-up OTA's go, your truck seems to have gotten them all.

I had the same issue, and I calibrated mine with FDRS. Someone on here recently did theirs with FORscan on another thread....can't remember who/which thread we were talking about it on. Once you load FORscan, click IPMA and see what pops up. Calibration should be one of the things you see. It will ask you to measure the distance from the ground to the highest part of your front wheel arches and then you drive the truck for a few miles with the laptop plugged in while it does its thing. It was very easy to do when I did it. The difference for me was night and day with the lane centering.
I will have to maybe give this a shot tomorrow. Just a couple of questions:

Is there any danger of screwing anything up...?

Does FORscan require an internet connection during the road calibration process?

When doing the road part, do you have to be on the road when you start the process, or can I start it at home and then drive to the well-marked roads? I live on a road with zero markings between house and highway that is about 1 mile away....

Thanks so much! Hopefully this will improve the lane centering and BC operation.

No, you won't screw anything up. It is a calibration procedure.......you're not changing anything within any of the modules.

I don't think internet connection is needed. I don't remember having to turn on the hotspot on my phone.

I started it in my driveway and then drove a half mile to the road I finished the process on.

A few people have reported getting it since yesterday. It's a GWM update and it is in process of being added to the OTA history github page.
The GitHub (mainly the applicability column) seems very out of date for the F-150.

Got it. Thanks for the added info. Gonna give it a go today.

Yes, it is a work in progress. I don't know how to update it myself, otherwise I would.

Well, so much for the dealership recalibrating the IPMA camera 3 times. The front wheel heights were off by 42mm (1.65" : Orig = 990mm for both L & R, Act = 948mm ro both L & R). Heading out now to see how it has impacted my BC/lane centering wandering... I am hoping this will fix it. More to come.

FDRS tells you calibrating the IPMA that the calibration process is not intended to correct issue due to the suspension being modified. It tells you to leave whatever numbers are in there from the factory and put the truck back to stock height. I completely ignored the warning, measured the height and entered the actual height and ran the calibration process anyway even though FDRS told me not to. It worked just fine.

The dealer most likely followed the instructions and did not measure and adjust the height.

Hmmmm. I have no suspension mods... It is as it was delivered on my 900A with the stock 22" tires. Not sure how they would even hope to raise the stock suspension 1.65" (948 raised to 990) to abide by the FDRS instructions... Do you recall what your measurements were when you ran this procedure?

In FORscan, it didn't have that calibration instructioal message. It said to measure the wheel well apex point on each side and enter that into the corresponding fields, save the readings, then run the calibration. That is what I did, replacing the 990mm with 948mm (I rounded up from 947.7375 mm, which was my conversion from the actual a 37 5/16" measurement with my tape).

I was able to take the truck out and see how it did. I think it is doing better, but the road I was on was E/W running and I had the sun directly in the camera. It was turning off the system probably because of the glare in the camera lens, as the lines were good on the road. Once I got turned back away from the sun, it didn't deactivate, but I was then on a poorly marked road.

Now that I know what to expect from the calibration procedure, I may try rerunning the calibration and take someone along with to run the computer. I was surprised at how quickly it was completed (maybe 1/2 mile max). The FORscan messages were a bit confusing as in the log window, it says, "Running calibration....", but down below there is a % bar that was at 100% but I kept driving as I thought that might have been the % for prepping for the calibration. It really should put a message up in the log text that says it has completed the calibration.

Anyway, good stuff. Thanks for pointing me to the FORscan procedure. More to come.

I don't remember the measurements on mine, but mine does have a 2" level and aftermarket wheels/tires. I'm not surprised that FORscan didn't give you the same message that FDRS gave me. I was also surprised at quickly it calibrated. I feel like it took less than a mile when I did mine, too.

I reran the calibration this morning out of the bright sun. It took just under 1/2 mile once I got above 40mph. I think it is doing better than before. I have had only a few miles of BC time with the changes, but it seems less prone to hugging the right lane line. Time will tell for sure.

Thanks again for your great suggestions and guidance. I really appreciate ya!

So after a couple of months of no activity, today I had the second Sync network interface fire up. The TCU interface goes active every day at around 6:40pm, so I had assumed they might have changed the SW to checkin and download there. It will be interesting to see if I get any 4.3.x updates here in the next few days. That is how it used to act, with Sync network connection taking place within 1-3 days before the OTA would arrive over the TCU interface.
