It's quite possible that you honestly answering that survey will get something done.
So my wife had some issues with the dealership not paying off the lien on her trade-in when she got her Bronco and wasn't getting anywhere with the finance manager or her designates over a two week period.

Completed the survey complimenting the sales rep but writing her honest opinion about finance.

Got a phone call the next day from the dealership GM and the issue was resolved within 72 hours.

@Granger Ford was absolutely fantastic for me to deal with but I drove up there to take delivery and my truck didn't have any of the issues yours does. Yes, this is a failure at @Ford Motor Company and since their marketing teams spoke up here and offered assistance, I am curious to see what exactly they do in this situation. Similarly, I am very surprised that even though this made it past Ford's QC team, Granger didn't catch this and call you before sending it out. This is clearly a failure on their part too. Chip does sales and Shelby does finance so it isn't really either of their jobs but Zack is the principal person there for both their Ford and Ram dealerships so he should either be helping with this directly or giving you to someone who can.

In the end, social media, not just this forum, is your friend for both Granger and Ford. The real media might also be interested in this especially since you went to a local dealer and they they turned you away because you didn't buy from them (I'd hit them with a sprinkling of social media too). The absolute last resort is lawyers. They take forever in most cases, are expensive, and often times it feels like a one-night stand. Yeah, it accomplished the goal but you're left not really satisfied and you'd do anything to leave without being noticed.

Absolutly shocking @Granger Ford has yet to weigh in on this. Curious how many sales they receive from all the referrals on this site. TFL even advertises for them on their YouTube channel. I will stop referring people until I see a satisfactory response to this situation and hope the community also stands behind @BarryT82. @Granger Ford, this vehicle should have never been shipped and who tried to cover the issue up by buffing the paint (hence the paste in tailgate)? @Ford Motor Company , eyes are on you too!

Ford has been messaging me on here and told me to take it to a dealership for a warranty claim. I’ve done that. A dealership submitted a claim 7 days ago on the seat and they haven’t heard back. They also submitted a paint claim and they haven’t heard back on that either.

Ford has been messaging me on here and told me to take it to a dealership for a warranty claim. I’ve done that. A dealership submitted a claim 7 days ago on the seat and they haven’t heard back. They also submitted a paint claim and they haven’t heard back on that either.
The entire seat clearly needs to be replaced. I'd imagine the whole truck will need to be painted as well since you've shown so many different areas affected. I wonder what your blend date was and how many others with dates close to yours or if trucks with the same date have issues.

There are just so many problems with this and so many points of failures. I am truly shocked that none of these defects were caught before it showed up.

King Ranch's are very expensive but this should never have happened on even the cheapest car Ford makes.

I highly doubt that Granger/Ford will respond to this thread. At this juncture it's a business dealing between the OP and them, not the entire forum. I'm certain the OP will (as he has this far) post updates. Once this situation is resolved I'd hope Granger would address this with the forum with assurances such incidents will be resolved in a more timely manner.

I haven’t heard from them since 9/24.

I'm certain the OP will (as he has this far) post updates. Once this situation is resolved I'd hope Granger would address this with the forum with assurances such incidents will be resolved in a more timely manner.
This is an entire community that should stand together. If @Granger Ford did nothing wrong or has a different version to the events, they should say so here. This site has referred a lot of business to @Granger Ford. Maybe you haven’t and don’t care which is fine, but a lot of us have. We all want what is right and just. No one individual has the power alone; however a community does.

This is an entire community that should stand together. If @Granger Ford did nothing wrong or has a different version to the events, they should say so here. This site has referred a lot of business to @Granger Ford. Maybe you haven’t and don’t care which is fine, but a lot of us have. We all want what is right and just. No one individual has the power alone; however a community does.

Based on the horrible condition of the truck‘s paint, would only accept a buy back. i don’t buy new vehicles to take to a body shop to be repainted.
If it were one of their vehicles and it arrived in this condition they’d be as upset as I am. The bed needs painted, the entire top of the cab, the tailgate, fuel door, there are areas that need buffed to remove dirt in the paint. The dealership body shop told me that to properly paint the top of the cab the sunroof and rear glass have to be removed. To remove the sunroof the headliner has to come out as well. The service department disassembled the seat and couldn’t figure out why there’s a big hole other than a bend at the back of the seat. The leather top section of the seat needs replaced due to peeling and bubbling.

Never did I think the new car industry would stoop to the RV industry’s level. Demand a buy back.
