FWIW, the measurement is a SWAG based upon drive distance and usual MPG plus sitting in my driveway hooked up to the house.

We had a big storm here in Michigan last week. Power was out for about 26 hours. Had whole house on the truck. No central AC did not have soft start installed yet but was not needed. Nice and cool. I used right at 8.5 gallons in 26 hours. Sometimes the truck would not even cycle for almost an hour. ?

If I had natural gas to the house I'd have gone the Generac route. 22kW with auto transfer switch and wifi connection. Weekly automatic runs scheduled etc.

We have natural gas and finally pulled the trigger on a generac. 14kw with auto transfer. I got multiple quotes for anywhere between 12-15k. Fuck that. I got the generator myself. $4500/w a 10yr warranty and got a company installing for about $1500.

In my case, I’d go with the powerboost (or lightning). I don’t have natural gas to the house and my house is relatively small. Alas, the tremor does not come with the juice. I’m ok with that.

I just passed 36,000 miles and the valet just dropped off the truck following its second warranty repair. The first was the passenger side mirror camera after a hurricane blew through.
This time I had a “squeak” when transitioning to and from ICE operation. They found the issue and the “squeak” is gone.
