You're the man. Thank you... here is mine. You were spot on in your estimate.

So is this to mean you’ve had your ignition on for 543ish hours total, and of that, the engine has run for 224 hours, 25 of which the engine was only idling, not driving the truck? If so, that means you’ve had 319 hours of engine off operation, a good amount of which likely being EV idle time. If that’s the case, incredible. Definitely saving good amounts of money in that idling period!!

Yeah exactly. That's how I am figuring it. The numbers match real life. Based on the number of actual days I have used the truck, like 4 to 5 hours a day of chilling in it doing work.

For My needs, yep, this truck has saved me a LOT of money I otherwise would have spent on gas on the Ram. MPG and idle time. Plus powered my house 3 times. So that's 4250 dollars saved from not having to buy a generator.

That's the key to the value equation for this truck and what makes it a very unique proposition currently, while it enjoys exclusivity.

If you have remote (off grid) power needs, it's the new Sheriff in town. Incredible utility that is deployable with nothing but a touch of a button!

But if you are also someone who works "on-the-road", it offers an in-vehicle environment that is just as unique as the generator. All those hours I used to either spend sitting in the truck running the motor, or often looking for a comfortable establishment to use as a desk for an hour or two......

If you are someone who leverages BOTH features, the value equation is turned on its head. I'm an RV dwelling remote office person. It's the second time in my career that a technology showed up that changed my lifestyle for the better in huge ways. (the last time was around 2007 when the smartphone suddenly changed cell towers to data-drive access points rather than "Can you hear me now" voice-centric access points)

A new kind of YMMV thread. : )

FWIW, here's the numbers off my truck after 12K miles total including 8000+ miles cross country, with several nights idling all night camping, so I'm surprised to have "only" 14hrs idling.
Imagine if Ford had pulled out all the stops and put a 3kWh battery in this 6000lb truck … : )

I was in the "Trip 2 lifetime" club till 9000 miles then somehow blundered and reset it …

Here's the latest elec miles (reset doesn't zero out engine hours or elec miles) and time to show a sort of lifetime sum:

… and a gratuitous shot of doggo finding a "comfortable" spot for an ever vigilant one-eye open nap (she's totally zonked out and dreaming when I took this pic… how that paw stayed up there, I dunno.)

That dog is funny.

What is YMMV? I worked for the govt and am pretty good at acronyms, but that ones stumping me.

I bet it was gut sinking for a few minutes after resetting trip 2. I hate making those kinds of mistakes LOL

I left one of my trip meters as well. Haven't checked the hours, but I'm averaging a lifetime 21 mpg. Did the same with my 20 Jeep Gladiator. With the 3.6, normally aspirated engine, it managed just 17mpg lifetime. So, the Powerboost compares very favorably considering it's much heavier and has a ton more power.

Ha, when I started my job in the defense space, I was so overwhelmed with the acronyms. Felt like every time I asked for clarification, I’d just end up with 10 new acronyms I also didn’t know ?

I know, it's a PITA. I'm convinced someone in the gov't invented "LOL".

And then, an Intel agency invented LMAO, because the first one was too easily decrypted.

YMMV is YATLA (Yet Another TLA … and TLA is three letter acronym … and no, a TLA doesn't need to have three letters, AFAIK*.)

Your Mileage May Vary

AFAIK: As Far As I Know

That's just a conspiracy theory … hang on … I think you're right … the CIA coined the phrase "conspiracy theory" … or is that just another conspiracy theory?
footnote: just cost $125 to fill up … that's nothing to LOL about …

Here ya go. The 1 doesn’t show but the trip is really 16,225.1

I think 16225 wins you champion "Trip 2 lifetime."
Also bizarre they didn't code for an unlimited "Total Miles" display in the Trip meter.
And an impressive 22.2 mpg for 16K real world miles.

I also have trip 2 set for total miles/mpg avg and total hours on my vehicles. I’ve done it since about 2015. I just turned in my 2018 3 year Lease which was an F-150 Lariat 4x4 Super crew with 3.5 Ecoboost and Max tow Package which gave it 3.55 gears and 20” tires. I also keep track of my trailer towing miles for each trailer. These are pictures Of my 2018 I took on way to my dealer a month ago to pick up my new F-150 Powerboost. These numbers are for just over 35 months of driving.
