Anyone know if it can be deleted after the fact?It doesn’t mention that in 2024 Ford removed the BISG because the system was judged not to need that redundancy.
Since that would require a lot of reprogramming, possible updated modules the likelyhood of this being a thing for the 21-23's is very unlikely.Anyone know if it can be deleted after the fact?
IOW, were mine to go bad, would it have to be replaced, if its been decided to be superfluous?
I assumed as much but thought there might be a decommissioning procedure.Since that would require a lot of reprogramming, possible updated modules the likelyhood of this being a thing for the 21-23's is very unlikely.
Very interesting and coming from my alma mater Weber State University.
I’ve been watching this guy for years. Really a good chance to nerd out watching these videos.Very interesting and coming from my alma mater Weber State University.
Too bad they didn’t incorporate it into the 6R140 TorqShiftIt's a very clever and thoughtful design. Too bad the 10R80 is such a turd. If Ford had implemented this onto a ZF8 speed, I'd never even considering buying anything else
When mine went bad, I no longer had a hybrid function. Once the engine started, it did not shut off until I turned it off.Anyone know if it can be deleted after the fact?

Thanks but that must be in the programming, because they eliminated it in 24+.When mine went bad, I no longer had a hybrid function. Once the engine started, it did not shut off until I turned it off.
It would do this intermittently over the couple of months before I could get it fixed.
Exactly! Will definitely be subscribing to that channel. This is a great video that is very simple to understand.. Good teachers make things easy to understand!
I do have a question for you all.. The professor mentioned the 3 different ways the PB engine can be started - the 12v starter, the belt integrated starter / generator and the high voltage motor / generator.
I can clearly tell when the 12v starter kicks in.. It makes the distinctive sound but I rarely ever hear it..
