FDRS is experiencing a server issue that's been going on for more than 24hrs.

I can log in and do a VIN search to find available software updates but the vehicle history section is broke hard. Here's what you get when you try to view history on any VIN:
Ford F-150 ECU module programming guide using FDRS Unauth_User_FDRS

I'm told by another forum member that even though available updates are shown in the list you can't actually update anything if you attempted to.

Let us know if pulling a session history from a previous session works for you.

I had something odd happen in FDRS during a GMW update. I started the update and it ran some processes like configuring the module, updating the database, etc. but never actually installed a change or asked for a USB stick. Each time, once the process finishes, the update is still shows as available. The engineering number of the update and what is installed matches. I ran through the update cycle about 10 times thinking there were just a lot of updates but that doesn't seem to be the case. The PCM and ABS updates I did at the same time worked fine. Has anybody else had this experience with the GWM?
I tried removing my vehicle from FDRS and re adding it. The same issue occurs where the GWM update reads configuration, data, configures the module, other processes, then says it was everything was successful. But then I see GWM still has an update. I tried redownloading the update (the little refresh button next to "RUN") and same results. It isn't a big deal, it's just strange behavior.

Run as administrator, just for grins?
Sadly, I don't think PCM updates are delivered OTA?
If I'm mistaken, someone will come along and feed me my deserved helping of crow. :)
There have been a couple PCM updates OTA so far. I think the 5.0 was the first to get one for a recall issue maybe. The last update my Powerboost got was a PCM update, and so far, I feel like I'm able to stay in full electric easier than before.

After installing DSP update earlier this year noticed recurring issue. Hitting camera button first time I get weird sound for about 1 second. It's fairly consistent I can get the sound every trip once. Can hit camera button again and don't do it, only the first time. It's not louder than music playing just annoying.

That is more of a new APIM software glitch we all got blessed with. Mine started doing it a while back as well, if I hit a button or adjusted the volume from the wheel, the sound would glitch for a second then be just fine. Both of my trucks do it so it is something with the software someplace.

Every FDRS update I have ever done, has been over cellular WiFi.
Admittedly it's an Android 5G phone with a physical ethernet adapter connected to the WAN interface of a router. But it is cellular. (AT&T)

Where I live, that's the only choice. Not complaining since I remember when anything faster than a T1 (~1.5mps) was broadband. ?

If I had to guess, I'm between 40-50 updates total between both of my Gen14 F150's.

Maybe the latest thing they are doing getting all years aligned to same APIM version will fix that. I never noticed it before updating but I've only had truck since April and don't press camera button often.

I actually like the ATT network. 100 Mb down on a reseller that doesn't throttle. ATT itself limited to 15 Mb down when I left years ago. They might treat you better in their home state. I'm guessing updates took a while to download. 600 Mb WiFi so updates took me seconds to download and forever to write to USB at the FDRS snail pace.

Well I got all done but APIM And IPC. I held off on the APIM as I know it takes a while and I just don't have time to do it tonight. The IPC would not go thru tried 3x Guess I got to go can bus on it. Which is weird because I am rather sure I updated it in the past with usb to get the blueCruise up and running. I sure hope USB works on the APIM as that's a big one.

As you pointed out, cellular downloads are way faster than FDRS writing to USB.

Out here in rural woods I don't get that city 5G speeds. Not even close. But I still marvel at having the whole world at my fingertips in mere seconds/minutes, while sitting in an RV. We are easily jaded about such things. :)

We live in remarkable times, even if our species is a bit loco. Lol
