After installing DSP update earlier this year noticed recurring issue. Hitting camera button first time I get weird sound for about 1 second. It's fairly consistent I can get the sound every trip once. Can hit camera button again and don't do it, only the first time. It's not louder than music playing just annoying.
Mine does the "pop" everytime I open a door or tailgate after it's been locked. Wish I'd never done that DSP update at all now.

It's quieter for me. No more loud pop when I get a pop sound.

This sound is more like connecting a speaker to audio while audio is playing. It's almost like it's trying to get audio out of the camera input since that seems to trigger it every time now.

The update has been sent to some OTA so I don't think we could have avoided it. It fixed the loud noise issue I had so I'll tolerate a little digital noise.

I noticed that there was a gateway module update for my 21 Powerboost this morning. Just tried to install it and it seems to be successful, but it keeps showing back up on the list. Looking at the history it doesn't seem like it did anything, but it did not error during the process. I remember last time required a USB drive but this time it didn't prompt for one.

Also, I should have the latest updates available for the 21 besides this gateway one that just popped up.

Anyone seeing this yet? FDRS servers still on strike?

Odd it’s showing up now. Last one for me was May or June. And I’ve been checking for new updates weekly since to see if and when BC 1.2 will come out before my trial expires end of year. Thanks for confirming.

1.2 has been superseded with 1.3. There will be no 1.2 deployments.

The question is, will Ford deploy 1.3 to the older 2021 and 2022 trucks.

I think the answer may depend on how many people subscribe and how profitable it will be for Ford. The easy answer for Ford is for them to make you buy a new truck to get the latest and greatest.

Time will tell, but at this point. I have lost hope.

Absolutely, if for no other reason than increasing the safety of the lane centering hardware. Given tesla essentially trashed their entire FSD software stack due to a breakthrough they made with Ai and it's by all accounts revolutionary, the bar getting raised forces others to follow.

I'd like to see benefits to update for my non-BC truck. Better lane centering and whatever but I can live with it as it is now.

Yep that's what I'm excited to try as well when I get my new 23 rig set up. There are few trouble spots I drive by a lot, so curious how 1.2 will handle them.

So I bought a left over 22’ back in march. I had someone with FDRS run my vin and was sent screenshots of a ton of updates for my truck. I did just get the “full screen” update OTA, but I know there are other updates available. I brought my truck to the dealer for an oil change, and was asking them to update some things.. they claim there is none. (Lies). Anyways, with 5 Fords at the house I figured it’s time to expand from just forscan on a crappy Amazon/windows tablet to now a Windows laptop & mongoose cable.

Long story short, as a Mac & iOS guy it’s very difficult not only to just purchase a PC, but to pick one out. I liked the Toughbook idea and how the screen disconnects from the keyboard and becomes a tablet etc.

I found a refurbished one on Amazon for around $1000. Anyways. After receiving it, the track bad hardly works and the charger only works sometimes.

What do you guys recommend? I was trying to stay under $1,000, as I already have an almost 4k dollar MacBook Pro that I use for everything else.
