I’d be willing to bet it does drive better, although it may not be the leaps and bounds you were hoping for. I do tow, a lot- and I never use the scales or smart hitch, lol. I guess for people who are new to towing it could be useful, I’m not sure. :)

This truck has the stickers on the side and the skid plates, so I know it’s an FX4, and I know it has scales because the RAS through that system out of wack lol

My FX4 DOES have scales & CCD. So no, you’re not safe to assume that. ??‍♂️

I too wish I didn’t get a truck with CCD/Scales. I added RAS to my truck as I tow 10,000lbs up & down the east coast a few times a year, and I’m towing 5-6,000lbs almost every weekend, or 2 weekends a month the very least. Anyways, I wish I could figure out a way to just disable the CCD...

Well you obviously have a few options… 1. Take it to the dealer. (If you do this I would at least record videos of what you’re experiencing so they can also see it and they won’t just send you home with a “customer states … could not replicate issue” 2. Crawl under it, there are a few...

You may want to have your truck looked at. I tow 10,000lbs frequently up & down the east coast and usually cruising at 85-90mph! 25k miles, and have zero issues. The truck brakes hard!

I have a 22' Lariat with OBS, and I was thinking about grabbing these tails as I can get them for $850 right now, and the original style BAP tails are going for $1250. I had my stock OEM full LED tails custom painted, but now I'm kinda over them.. decisions decisions..
