Well...My 2 day FDRS license is done for this session and no APIM update for me....:sadface: My luck it will show up tomorrow or Monday. If it does, it will have to sit there till the next time.

I have my Noco 5A 3M taped to the top of the FUSE box lid under the hood. Just have to plug it in when the truck is going to sit for a while because I still have the OEM H6 battery. I know, i am cheap...LOL One day I will get a H7 and change it out.

EDIT: I just discovered that if you click on a members location, it opens Google Maps and show that location. How long have this been?

Unlike the improved IPMA software I have no need for whatever they are doing with the APIM. I'll wait for them to sort out sending that update OTA to me in 2026.

I have all of these updates to perform this weekend, which ones are faster and which are slower? I want to start with the faster ones.

Well I performed everything shown in FDRS yesterday. Took about 13 hours. Seems like I’m still an APIM update behind, but I plan to check on that this afternoon.

Yep, same here and on last years sync too.

Edited to get rid of the duplicate verbiage. Must have pulled both triggers.

My truck is 100% up to date with updates other than the BCM one that can't be done. After the pointless daylight savings clock change thing that no one thinks should exist anymore, my BlueCruise does not want to work anymore. I assume it is because the sun is blinding the camera during the evening commute since it worked before. Anyone experiencing this and have a workaround?

When the sun is bright any anywhere from about 10 o'clock to 1 o'clock, my BC has issues. No workaround.

Mine works anytime of the day morning or night. The only thing is I have my entire windshield tinted 20% an 5% on all other windows and at night the glare makes it hard for the camera thing to see if I’m “watching the road or not” that’s the only down fall I have with BC at night with dark tint.

Question for the FDRS experts…
I updated all the modules in the pic below, except for the BCM a week and a half ago.
Since then, I’ve been getting random headlight system fault warnings. I’ve got the Lariat 502A projector LEDs. It’s happened around 6 times since my updates. Would any of these updates affect the headlight system?
The errors go away on a restart, but it seems like the lights are doing a bit more dancing before they settle in.
Thanks!

How did you manage to tint the camera? Did you tear apart the camera?

You 5oh? 20/5 is an easy ticket pretty much anywhere unless you're part of the GOBS, but even still on the road another municipality is more than happy to take advantage of the free stop.

Sorry not tint over the camera but the things that keep track of your eyes suck after I got it tinted at night lol but drive the truck everywhere and out of state and haven’t been pulled over with tint like this in over 8 years lol. Not sure what GOBS means….. also the county I live in we are well known so kinda get out of a few things lol.

I've had random headlight codes since I bought the truck. Changed headlights and still have random codes. Headlights work perfectly with glare free and all.

I've learned to ignore codes that don't light up on dash.

I get dash warnings too on my 2021 Job1 502A. Had my headlamp modules (not entire headlight) replaced, but it was still happening multiple times within a few days of getting the truck back.

I too recently updated all of my software and other than my initial fumbling of FORScan changes for glare free, I have not seen any startup error codes this past week.

I’m almost wondering if it’s related to lower SOC levels. The truck has been at 80+ SOC since doing the updates. I’m curious to see if it starts acting up again as SOC drops. That or maybe the HCM update I installed actually fixed it.

Thanks for the responses. I've noticed my battery is a touch low with the cold weather lately, so maybe it's just a coincidence and not tied to my updates. Just a bit concerning, as I've only ever had it happen a few times in 3 years, and a bunch in the last week. I love the headlights, but the moving parts make me nervous now that I'm out of warranty.
I may pull the trigger on the H8 battery soon. Already on my second battery. First one lasted a year, and this one is 2 years old now.
