ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Anyone else having trouble logging in today. This is my first time trying to log in since they went to the web pop and asked for an email. After 45 minutes of resetting my password again and again, I finally created a new account. Now when I click sign in it just reloads that same page over and over again.

Edit: I've tried 38.5.7 and 34.4.7

I had some issues a couple days ago. I noticed if I put in the wrong password, it would return a message that I entered the incorrect password. If I entered the correct password, It would clear out my credentials, sit there for 5-15 minutes, then finally log in.

Yep, did that. I'm logged in through chrome, edge, and internet explorer.

It’s not the caps it’s the length that’s why I always tell people no more than 4 letters. Ford or sync

Mine are always all caps

Yup, mine has been "FDRS" since day one and no issue ever here. Definitely don't want any spaces.

Anyone know if the VCM2 works well with FDRS? I have an opportunity to pick one up locally for a a little less than a Mongoose, wondering if its worth it or not.

An original legit VCM2 is solid. Be aware of the sketchy clones.

How do I know if it’s a clone or original? Is there a way to check? SN or something?

Hello, first post, I hope I m following the correct protocol throwing the question here instead of starting a new one, it seemed to fit. I am trying to log into FDRS to update some modules instead of the dealer charging me 2,100.00 to do it. I have FDRS installed and it is communicating with my mongoose just fine (Green Light indicator in lower right hand corner) My 2 day license shows valid that I purchased from the Motorcraft site which I can logon to just fine. Every time I try to log into FDRS I am getting an authentication error. Windows 11 with defender turned off and the firewall completely open. When I run the test network button, it shows FDSP an login server fail, license and internet pass. (Picture attached) I have heard that FDRS goes down a bunch on the weekend for maintenance, might this be the issue or is there something else keeping me from logging in? Thanking the community in advance.

I’m not sure how much you can or cannot post on this forum around the topic. Safe bet is to google your answer. Many many threads on it.

Sunday is a day that is known to be problematic. That is when Ford updates their servers.
