Get a magnet mount for a go pro and start watching the CV axles and front drive shaft when doing this. You may get lucky.
Is your truck lifted? A lift plus high steering angle may have put the CV joints in a bind condition.

The best method on the 21+ is to just buy the eliminator from amazon. It can be done with Forscan, but it is tricking the truck in to thinking you are constantly turning.
Your main battery is likely bad, or borderline. The factory battery in my 23 only lasted 4 months. Get something aftermarket, Ford and Motorcraft batteries are garbage anymore.
