Just updated the APIM, DDM, PDM, ABS, SCCU and TCU. Pretty uneventful.....the only issue was the APIM borked unreal engine and I had to enable again with FORScan.
I did the same updates on 2 trucks today, a friend and mine. Thinking about getting into FORScan shortly.

Just noticed the APIM update also wiped out the toggle to activate the turn signal camera function. Gotta add that back on, too.
Your changes weren't reported back the mothership then yet, they do when you do a network scan, but if you did that right before you started updating, sometimes they take a day or two to make their way through the system. So when you updated, the last known asbuilt that was reported to the servers got loaded back to those modules, which most likely don't include your latest changes.

Forget you read that. Our 21 trucks can't do that trick. Slim chance we might be able to do it if Ford pushes the same IPMA software to us as the 23 trucks in an update. Some here think that is highly likely if BC 1.3 comes to our trucks, but I'm not holding my breath.

If it comes the forums here will light up with excitement. It is all just wait and see at this point. There was post recently about a possible IPMA update coming later this year but nothing about which model years that would touch, if it happens at all. Most here seem to agree that a major update for the IPMA would be needed to support BC 1.3 but there is nothing to force Ford into bringing that to 21 trucks. A major update would likely get 21 trucks the software support required for the turn signal cameras. Then it is just a few changes in Forscan to make it work.

Is Unreal worth turning on? Is it simply just a different look or does it add function/performance?
Just a different look. It does add a few things to the touchscreen like heated/cooled seats functions and HVAC temp controls.

It's not the same IPMA software in mine. To get that feature, you would have to side-load the IPMA software from a 2023 F150 using FORScan and as well as making the FORScan changes to the IPMA & APIM to activate the feature and get the toggle button to turn the feature on and off. This requires above-average knowledge of FORScan and access to the IPMA software files needed, as well as a good 5-6 hours of time. I cannot tell you how to do it.......I had help getting it done to my truck.

I figured as much, but seeing that I added the feature in the first week of September and have done several network scans between now and then that the truck would have synced up with the motherb*tch by now.

I missed the part where 2023 software was side loaded to a 2021.. Is this possible on a 2022? Ugh, must resist the temptation to dive into this... really want that feature, really don't want to spend another $100k. haha

Yes, the process with a 2022 would be the same. Also, all you need is the $35 vlinker cable and FORScan to do it.

Anyone notice the about screen no longer shows bluecruise available through info anymore? It now shows a map version? 23159 still had an expiration of 2074, as of 23291 it shows a map version. Anyone know what that is about? I looked back about 20 pages in the thread.

For me it's just validating my decision to purchase open pilot. I'm on bc1.2 and unless 1.3 is stable and holds control more than 1/4 mile I'm not paying more than 100.00.

What do you mean by holds control for more than a 1/4 mile?

I use it regularly on IH 35 and can go nearly the whole drive from Austin to Dallas without intervening besides construction and lane changes. My biggest gripe is the driver monitor always barking at me when I change the radio or look at my email.
