ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Ok,, well that sucks, but I will run them again and see what happens. However now I am getting an error when I try to run FDRS, Any ideas why that would happen?

It is happening to my vin also. I have checked MANY other vins and they load. I thought ford Black listed me again. Looks like some vins arent able to get in today. Send me your vin if you can

Well, so you pay for a 2 day license for FDRS, and yes I know it goes into Monday but I have lost an entire day to update. Probably will have no time tomorrow at all. When it finally started connecting today, all it did then was throw the "Internal Error" all day long.
Any one ever have to contact Motorcraft/Ford for issues and have a # or email that is worth using. I am going to ask for another 24 hours that I lost.

I've never seen anyone post regarding getting extended licensing. But that doesn't mean it's not possible.

Most of us have experienced the Sunday blues though. That's why it's mentioned so often.

I’d be surprised if you were able to get that from them. I believe it’s intended purpose is for dealer techs to use it and I don’t believe any dealer service departments are open on sundays.

Yeah, it's all good, I was just venting. I checked about an hour ago and it was working again. But problem with that is my day right now is too busy to attempt any more updates and since I purchased my license early Saturday morning all I know is it expires today sometime. Just do not not what time.

Not really programming related, but I saw history on FDRS. Nothing useful there except being able to see my own history with using FDRS. The rest of the data didn't tell me anything.

Is there a way to see the service history for a vehicle or is that limited to dealers with Oasis access?
Just curious on getting details of prior work done. I can see service visits on FordPass, but there are no details on what was being done by the Ford techs with the first owner.

Well, I think I am finally done with very little time on the play clock for the FDRS license. My post from yesterday giving the modules run and the times, yeah you can pretty much take that with a grain of salt. I was misled to believe from the FRDS instructions that say if updates remain you can ignore them and they will go away. Big mistake!
My advice to anyone still waiting to do this, if you are as far behind as I was do your updates on any two days that do not include Sunday. You might get lucky but I lost a ton of update time because of the Sunday shutdown. And then when it came back on line could not get logged in. And then when I could get logged in I got the never ending "Internal Error" well into Monday morning.
But in the end I am fully up-to-date "I think" My Version is 23031, Revision: 713 The one update that is still showing truly will not install because it has to do with the audio system.

Congrats, looks like you got it all. The last several updates went fast for me using USB on all of them. I don't recall an audio update so that must be specific to your VIN.
Future updates should come through over air once Ford gets around to it.

Nicely done. Having been through the same thing recently I’ll tell you it is well worth the effort. I believe the remaining ‘upgrade’ is only if you have the Kicker subwoofer. Not a stock item.

So did the master reset, didn't seem to help, still no location in fordpass. I did look at the modules in forscan and noticed there is only one difference in the as-built, which I changed in the new one to match the old one, but not sure if that was the right move. The line is

754-02-01 2D00 0000 00 in the old TCU
754-02-01 2D00 0000 10 in the new TCU

When I initially had issues with the new module, I changed the 1 to a 0 on the new one hoping that matching them up would remove the error, but it didn't seem to make any difference and I just left it. Just a shot in the dark that it would matter, I couldn't find anything the the as built sheet that said what that was.
