Also, post on the thread below for someone with FDRS to check your VIN to confirm the IPC update is there. As far behind as your truck is, waiting for OTA's to their job will take a looooooong time.

That could either be a good thing because you already got it, or a bad thing that it is not showing up there. It may not show up unless an actual network scar is performed with FDRS, which was the case on my own truck when I first updated back in September. @Jesse-Infotainment can maybe look at your truck with his tools as he can see a lot more than I can.

I used FDRS to update from the pre-Alexa version I was stuck at to having all updates installed.

When I did the first APIM update I got the Alexa icon when it finished but I never set it up. I did get the email from Ford and it shows up in my Connected Services. However after installing a few more updates the icon vanished and Alexa is missing from my settings. It still shows up on the Ford website.

Any idea what happened?

For those who still have Securialert, the most recent TCU update unfortunately kills it once and for all. No master reset required. RIP.

What OTA was the TCU update part of? I am on 4.2.3 and my SecuriAlert is still showing in FordPass.

Correct. The second GWM update (4.2.3) leaves SecuriAlert intact. The TCU update (4.2.4) kills it.

I'm usually a roll with the punches guy, and I have no choice but to take this one like everyone else. But I'm disappointed that the alerts are going to be nixed once the update arrives.

FordPass was mostly a novelty with my previous trucks. But something I felt was a real added value to the Gen14 with the Bluetooth enhanced functionality of ProPower, Securilert, Maintenance records with receipts....

One by one Securilert is backtracking to novelty status. I'm sure if we knew the real or whole story, it might make some sense. But it feels like Ford is crying U N C L E. Giving up on their ambitious vision, rather than plowing ahead through the challenges.
