So the ones of us that got the 4.2.2 OTA should see the TCU come through as a OTA update soon?
“Soon” is a relative term. You have the first GWM update (4.2.1) and the APIM update (4.2.2). You will need one more GWM update (4.2.3) and then the TCU should follow as 4.2.4.

Neither the GWM nor the TCU are large files. They should install OTA easily.

I have a 21 job 1 Platinum. I had 4.2.2 on the 21st and then it updated to 4.2.4 (per the sync screen). I'm not sure if it did both updates (4.2.3 & 4.2.4) at once or what.
Had to have the .4 won’t release unless confirmed.3 install

This may be off topic, but does anyone know how they plan to distribute BlueCruise 1.2? I know it is via OTA, but is there a rough schedule out there?

For those who still have Securialert, the most recent TCU update unfortunately kills it once and for all. No master reset required. RIP.
On the bright side, the new TCU is supposed to unlock the ability to verbally bitch to Ford about their products (“In-Vehicle Voice Feedback”) and provides a built-in opportunity to test that function. So, we got that going for us.

I can only imagine the messages they will get. "Hey Ford, I turned my lights off and filled my gas tank like you asked me to. Why am I not getting OTA's?" lol

If it came from my truck they’d need to get through about five minutes of expletives before they got to anything that substantive.

Probably all the dealerships tired of getting narc'ed out by owners calling them saying the truck door/hood hasn't opened in X days.

The Ring Car Cam fixes that one for me. I can see what they're doing in my truck and if they haven't touched my truck in days, I'll also know it because 1) I'll get an alert that the camera has turned off to save battery 2) I'll have no motion alerts for as long as the camera is running).

Didn't really need securealert to know if my dealer was working on my truck even without the Ring Car Cam. They park all their vehicles off site until they start working on them and then move them back to a bay. I could just look at the vehicle location in the Fordpass app and see that my truck was in their offsite lot.

For ‘21 owners who are continuing to update their trucks manually via FDRS, a second GWM dropped overnight. It is very small—it barely registered writing to the USB drive and I thought I’d missed it. I can’t tell if it does anything. The only thing I can see is that the F188 software version has changed from -LLA to -LLB.

I‘m hoping that this is a flag to the server to free up a new TCU update like it has for ‘22 but so far after a few network scans no new software has appeared. On the bright side, ‘21s have now gotten three updates released to FDRS in the last week or so.
I also got the TCU update for my '21 and installed via FDRS today. The order I saw them was GWM, APIM, another GWM, then the TCU update.
