That won’t fix the map issue unfortunately.
Hopefully it is something simple that you notice. It is impossible to get anything in at a dealership in Houston for repair without waiting a week with no service loaner.

I dont think it will be anything simple. Anytime Ive seen it the maps had to be reinstalled. The map packages cant be downlaoded very easily.

I may only be able to fix it in person. You may want to try and get it into the dealer.. Otherwise you would have to send the apim to me.

Kind of interesting ...
Let the 4.2.4 TCU update come in OTA today ...
Let it install ... And I am still getting my secure alerts.

I no longer see "Secure Alert" listed under the Safety and Security section of the app ... But for now at least ... The notifications are still happening.

Did notice that for at least a little after .. I still had the "secure alert active" on the initial splash screen of the app ... Now that is gone.

Wondering if the notifications will stop all together in the next 24 hours or so

Man I hope you are right.
Although even if they continue after 4.2.4, I don't think they will stop holding it over our heads that it's "only a matter of time".

Honestly, I don't even know why I cherish the feature the way I do. I think it's just something satisfying about my phone notifying me that it's aware that the truck has been touched.
Similar to my credit card notifying me that I just swiped it.

In both cases it's something that I know that I just did, but it's nice to know that if it wasn't me, I KNOW too.

Question for the people who know this stuff. Planning on updating my truck myself and wanted to know if you are required to go in order that the updates are listed or can you do different types of updates out of order I.e can you do just the APIM updates without doing anything else (as I understand the APIM’s are basically the sync4 updates). Is there a specific order to do them?

So basically, if I understand your post correctly. You now have the remnants of SecuriAlert running in some sort of zombie mode that you can nolonger control within Fordpass? So forever notifications based on your last settings with no way to disable or change?

Possibly... Going to keep checking over the next few hours and see if (probably when) it stops notifying me.

For giggles, just went out and opened the passenger door ... and received notification. About the 3 (corrected) hour mark from update

You can go in pretty much any order you want, you don't have to start at the top of the list. I would update the following in this order if they were available to me: IPC, GWM, IPMA, APIM, TCU. After that, the PCM or CMR would also be on my list to concentrate on, but not for any particular reason.

I was thinking the same thing and am seriously contemplating turning it off while I still have control. I like the feature but do often change my settings based on vacations, traveling for work, etc.

I did a master reset this morning and the maps came back online. I appreciate the offer to reload the maps as I was about to drive up and pay you fix it instead of Ford.

I'm usually a roll with the punches guy, and I have no choice but to take this one like everyone else. But I'm disappointed that the alerts are going to be nixed once the update arrives.

FordPass was mostly a novelty with my previous trucks. But something I felt was a real added value to the Gen14 with the Bluetooth enhanced functionality of ProPower, Securilert, Maintenance records with receipts....

One by one Securilert is backtracking to novelty status. I'm sure if we knew the real or whole story, it might make some sense. But it feels like Ford is crying U N C L E. Giving up on their ambitious vision, rather than plowing ahead through the challenges.
It still provides alarm alerts via FordPass.

You can't, you'll need to go to play store in Android or apps in iPhone to find the version number
Ok so I don’t understand where the 4 2.2 and all that version stuff can be located
