What is more pansy massage seats or C rated tires? (Not tellin' which I have)Once the cabin is comfortable, 67 degrees + heated seat + massage = the only way to put miles on the truck![]()
Both lane centering (essentially hands-on bluecruise) and hands free BC is automatically engaged when cruise control is turned on if your truck is up-to-date. You can tell if your truck is up to date with its software if, when engaging cruise control, bluecruise/bluecruise hands free engages. How does this not immediately engage Bluecruise? I engage cruise and then lane keeping and then hands-free comes on. I assume I am missing something here...
I think there's some confusion here with lane keep assist and lane centering. Lane keep assist is the system that will either nudge the wheel or notify you that you're departing the lane. Lane centering better referred to as hands-on bluecruise is not LKA. LKA can be disabled entirely and is not part of hands-on bluecruise (officially Copilot 360 assist 2.0).On way home from work, enabled cruise.... then turned off cruise and the LKA stay enabled. So even after turning cruise off, still had to manually turn off LKA. So I guess the LKA haters and lovers have to manually turn it off no matter what. We can enjoy this hell together.![]()

Here I corrected it for Ford, enable cruise and IMMEDIATLEY (yeah f---ing imediatey) disable lane centering) before lane centering drives you off the road. Way to go Ford programming. Hiring the best and brightest... yeah right. LOL.yes, you can disable it, located in center screen
If I'm going down the open highway on a road trip and no other cars are around, then yeah, slap that 2lb ankle weight on the wheel and stretch my arms and relax. But in traffic on a daily commute, having to touch the wheel every 15 seconds and having the truck stray closer to the right side of the lane with my tow mirror on the white line when there is a good three plus feet available between the truck and the yellow line is just silly and then it keeps fighting me when I try to get it 1-2 feet more centered. That's why I call it keep even though it is probably centering, but it really isn't centered, lol. Would be cool if there was a way to adjust it like an aperture; 3, 2, 1, 0, -1, -2, -3. Would you consider using lane centering on 295 during rush hour in ATL, ehh, prob risky. And I agree, the copilot terminology across product lines makes no sense; 360, 2.0, Plus, Assist, Assist Plus, Plus Plus. Both lane centering (essentially hands-on bluecruise) and hands free BC is automatically engaged when cruise control is turned on if your truck is up-to-date. Ford is really bad in their marketing, if they were smart they would just call it bluecruise hands on or similar. Too late now to call it bluecruise standard and bluecruise plus. How bad of a marketing and engineering team do you have to have to not have loads of vehicles marketed as having bluecruise!? Instead they have a shitshow of copilot 360 names which is poorly executed especially when "360 cameras" is another option.

I mean, toss on a set of non tow mirrors, works greatIf I'm going down the open highway on a road trip and no other cars are around, then yeah, slap that 2lb ankle weight on the wheel and stretch my arms and relax. No, you are incorrect. I have it disabled on my 2024. It does not automatically turn back on when the adaptive cruise is turned on or when power is cycled. No, you can't, it will turn back on every time cruise is activated with current software. It will have to be manually turned off every time it is not wanted.
If you have the newest software from FDRS that turned on the lane centering with cruise button you should be centered in lane with lane centering. Even with Dumbo ear mirrors. If I'm going down the open highway on a road trip and no other cars are around, then yeah, slap that 2lb ankle weight on the wheel and stretch my arms and relax. Per rugedraw, every module in my truck was updated June 18th, 2024 by the dealer when they had it for a week. I can't tell any difference in behavior. If Lane Centering had always worked as well as it does now, it would have a very different reputation and drawn a lot less ire from owners of 2021-23 trucks.
Something isn't right if you aren't experiencing a massive improvement over the past.
