Carscoops posted a YouTube video not too long ago with no details just the headline of 1.5 with automatically changing lanes... I haven't seen this referenced anywhere else..

EDIT:

Just found in accompanying article on their website

https://www.carscoops.com/2025/07/f...matic-lane-change-hands-free-highway-driving/

"Unfortunately, BlueCruise 1.5 requires more memory and processing power than earlier versions of the technology. These hardware requirements mean existing vehicles can’t be upgraded. That’s a bit of a bummer, but BlueCruise 1.5 will soon spread to other models besides the Mach-E."

If this part is true then I have no desire to pay for BC when my expiration date comes next year. There's been no improvement to the system in 3 years.

So from what I found on Ford website no love for the F-150. As of right now Mach-E only.

If this is true why are owners able to manipulate with Forscan to make lane changes available? Also a 2022 Platinum owner reported getting the upgrade over the air.

Lane change is available via BC 1.4 (which I have on my 21 through manual updates and then forscan encoding) however that lane change is you hit the turn signal and then the truck will make the lane change.

This however is fully automatic lane changing wherein the truck will initiate AND make the lane change all by itself.

Someone was able to get 1.5 on their 22? That contradicts this article. What discussion thread is that in?

It probably was not the 1.5 vs only lane change
