Just installed a set of the husky wheel well liners. Here is my 2 cents.
- install was pretty easy, although my truck has mudflaps installed, so the one bolt for the mudflaps had to be removed, liners slid in behind, and then reinstalled, which differed from the install instructions.

-not very impressed with the quality of the liners. The edge that slips into the edge of the wheel well seemed to be cut by hand, and wavy. Some parts of it fit perfectly, others are too large and need to be trimmed, and some parts are too small and leave a little gap.

-Not 100% sure if this is going to help resist moisture / rust, or actually effect it negatively. But one thing is for certain, it will help with rocks being flung around while on a gravel road.

That’s why I went with the ones from Ford on my former ‘22. Excellent fit.

Same experience. I installed a set of Huskies back over the winter when I purchased my 2024 F-150. My dad bought the 100% identical to my truck and brought it home this past weekend. I had gifted him a few goodies since he always did stuff for us growing up. One of those items were the rough country wheel well liners.

The rough country wheel well liners are one of the best fitting parts I think I have ever installed on a vehicle before. There is no need to buy an OEM part for this as the rough country fit is outstanding.

The hardware and clips were a cinch and the liner fit so precisely. The liners look great. I had to trim my huskies and was disappointed and wish I had purchased the rough countries for myself too.

Pictures? I just ordered a set.
These are pictures from mine back in March. I have it pulled out so it's a little exacerbated. But you can see where they're mold is not very good. I had to trim a decent amount off of both sides on mine. I just used tin snips.

I would certainly return them and get the rough countries personally. Thr rough countries really are like an OEM quality piece. I was incredibly impressed upon seeing the ones I bought for my dad and installed for him this past weekend.

Different experience here. Husky liners slid right in with correct fit. Regardless of the brand, sure looks better than stock.

Not sure why people just don't purchase the OEM liners. Glad for those that have positive experience with their Husky and RC brands.

They are double the price of the Husky brand ones is probably the main reason. My Husky liners needed a slight bit of trimming but it was and easy install and I'm happy with them.

Agreed. I am disappointed in the Huskies because their products are typically pretty solid. Going back I'd buy the rough country instead. But for 50% of the price it's hard to complain once they're installed which is not a big deal.

There's people that don't want to change anything, have to possibly modify things sometimes.... they're better off sometimes paying double the price for OEM. To me it's worth the gamble to save 50% from a brand who typically does offer a good product. For whatever reason this one wasn't one of their greatest. But the function is fine and they look great.

I didn't want to hassle modifying other brands to work. I have the OEM liners. They were worth it to me.

I had a decent experience with the Husky liners, tbh. There was one hole on each side that I had to fight with (I think the lowest, rearward spot). Exactly the same fitment fight on both sides but overall they went in well.

I was going to go with the Ford ones, but they wouldn't ship them to me or my dealer, and I didn't want to order them through the dealer and not be able to use my Ford points to pay for them. I have come to hear that my dealer is actually pretty good with getting OEM accessories for customers, but this was last year and I was impatient.

Overall, I'm happy and not keen on swapping them out with so many other things to spend money on for this truck

As for protecting the frame, I have no confidence that any drop in well liner is going to seal out grime and moisture. It's more about aesthetics for me.

Went with Ford OEM. No regrets at all.

I agree the rough country fit excellent on my 2024 F150. I ordered them off ebay directly from rough country and had them in three days.

I had to do a bit of trim work with a razor knife to get my Huskies to fit right...took about 90 sec per side. I can deal with that for the savings
