I get your point, and I agree it should come standard. My point is, even if they were standard, they weren't available at certain points. Wait months for your truck over plastic well liners or go aftermarket? ?
Point noted on that. Aftermarket it is in that case ?

....

All that babbling being said, I too bought the Husky Liners and yes, the passenger side did need to be trimmed a little, but it was no big deal. Photos attached.

Is the fact that you required trimming due to CCD shocks? I do not have those, and my passenger side (below) is an easy fit. I read somewhere that the Husky liners reach further down than the OEM's, which may also help explain the difference.

I looked a Husky but ultimately went with the Ford liners for my 2024. Price comparison was negligible. Easy installation and looks good. Did not require any trimming. Seems like I lost one of the plastic push pins or was not in the package. I had a few spare pins laying around so was not an issue. My next few add ons are rear bumper step and bed lights.
Are you looking for a retractable center step? If you are I found one on E-Bay for $191 plus tax and shipping, $241. It also came very quickly.

I installed mine last November and sent Huskie a photo of what I had to do because of the damping shocks, hopefully they will fix them.

Or simply say "some trimming is required with CCD shocks". Doubt they'd make a whole new mould for that.

One of my huskies went in fine, the other fit like crap. One of the bolt holes didn't even line up right. I should have returned them, but I haven't.

Can someone tell me, regardless of brand, where the liner sweeps down inside the wheel well to the hem seam in the body, does it stand off the body so that accumulated crud (sand, grit, salt, brine) can drop free? Or does the liner pinch tight to the wheel well so that crap will collect? Liners on my current rig have standoffs that let stuff fall free. But that's Toyota for ya.

Yes...Retractable step. I'd like one that bolts to the side so I can access with the tail gate down.

One of the first things I did and well worth it for an old man like me. As far as the liners go, I considered Husky or using Ford points, but the truck is antimatter blue, so it isn't an aesthetics thing and living in the desert I don't have to worry about road salt.

At 66 it's a struggle to get up on the bumper with the tail gate down to climb in the bed....I'm in Florida so no road salt..just sea salt. I've got a Black 2024...Black Out Edition and the wheel liners work well keeping all the junk out of the wheel wells and look really great...

Agreed. I am disappointed in the Huskies because their products are typically pretty solid. Going back I'd buy the rough country instead. But for 50% of the price it's hard to complain once they're installed which is not a big deal.

There's people that don't want to change anything, have to possibly modify things sometimes.... they're better off sometimes paying double the price for OEM. To me it's worth the gamble to save 50% from a brand who typically does offer a good product. For whatever reason this one wasn't one of their greatest. But the function is fine and they look great.
Can you show us a picture of the Rough Country liners?
