Same here, had to trim the Huskys, just like the picture above. What I am worried about are the cheapy fasteners. I can see them popping out or shearing off first time offroading.

I bought a set of Husky liners when I got my F150 in 22 and the only issue I had was that they rubbed the passenger side shock and needed to trim a small bit off to prevent this. Otherwise they have been perfect.

Why Ford doesn’t factory install and include these on XLT and higher trims, I’ll never understand. I have Oxford white and it looks terrible in the rear without the liners. Glad to catch this thread, I won’t waste time with Huskey. Worth the extra bucks to get the OEM fitment and quality considering it’s a $75k truck.

You would like the rough country very easy to install and 110.00 on ebay direct from rough country. I just put mine on last week on my 2024 Lariat.

You’re right. Everything revolves around the almighty dollar. But I think most of us would even be fine with that being a standard option on XLT and higher trims. I just came out of a 2021 GMC Sierra SLT. All those trucks come standard with felt wheel well liners front and rear on SLT and higher trims. Time to step it up a little Ford.

Thanks for the recommendation on the Rough Country, I’ll look into those.

It WAS an option when I built mine in March 2024. Believe it or not, that single option would have caused a delay in my build due to parts shortage so I took it off.

Yes, I know it’s an option… I remember looking at another Lariat on the lot very similar to mine, and it happened to have the rear liners installed from factory. I guess my point is, for such a cheap part that makes these trucks look a lot better and protect the wheel wells, you’d think the XLT and higher would have this as a base standard option that’s automatically part of that trim package.

I get your point, and I agree it should come standard. My point is, even if they were standard, they weren't available at certain points. Wait months for your truck over plastic well liners or go aftermarket? ?

If you're talking about the "christmas tree" fasteners, mine loosened up after just a couple of days. I tightened them best I could and they loosened up again right away. I contacted Real Truck and asked them for another set of hardware, explaining that they wouldn't stay tight, so I could put bolts and the clip nuts in those locations. They sent me the hardware free of charge. Worked great.

I'm in agreement with a lot that has been said about these and other options that you can add to you truck if you order it. First of all, for the price we pay for these trucks, something as simple as a wheel well liner should be standard! (Shame on you Ford) That being said when the salesman tells you the more options you add, the longer it may take to receive your vehicle speaks volumes, especially when that is keeping him/her from earning more in commission. I do understand why some people would rather just have the options done before purchase and save the hassle. In my case, I'm retired and a lot of the enjoyment of adding to my truck comes in the research and installing them myself. Saving a little money doesn't hurt either. This Forum is a great tool for helping research and deciding on those add-ons.

All that babbling being said, I too bought the Husky Liners and yes, the passenger side did need to be trimmed a little, but it was no big deal. Photos attached.

It's interesting to see the different commentary on our husky liners. Mine fit beautifully in the location you're showing. The sloppiness on mine was significant where you need to tuck it up behind the fender.

I guess they probably had a pretty bad run with their mold. And maybe the people that never had issues had a different batch. Either way, they're awesome to have and it's not a big deal to trim.

I looked a Husky but ultimately went with the Ford liners for my 2024. Price comparison was negligible. Easy installation and looks good. Did not require any trimming. Seems like I lost one of the plastic push pins or was not in the package. I had a few spare pins laying around so was not an issue. My next few add ons are rear bumper step and bed lights.
