Did you do a SAVE before any changes? If so, should be able to upload the original module settings.

I believe I saved each module before making any changes.
But I am just second guessing myself because it is still having an issue.

if you are using forscan you can go to as built and reload the module back to OEM.

Do you know if there is a way to just reload all modules? I am wondering if I made a change to a module I did not keep track of.

i believe you need to do each module separately. maybe some else can add to this.

Depending how long ago the changes were made and if the truck has or hasn't sent the changes to the Ford servers, he may or may not be able to just PMI a module. If I understand correctly, PMIing a module will reinstall the original file from the Ford server if his changes have not been sent.

@SeattleGuy, Something you can try in FORScan is a module reset in case the module hasn't read its settings yet / properly during the key cycle.

One thing I often see if people loading previous profiles and then trying to overwrite them, and not getting the desired changes. When you log into forscan and it asks if you want to load a previous profile, select NO, and force forscan to reload all modules. Then attempt your changes

Anyone have thoughts on what I could have done to my Rain Sensing Wipers and my rear passenger seat heater?
Whenever I mess with Forscan I seem to disable them. I think I reset all the modules back to stock but they still do not work.
Anything specifically I should look for?
Is there an easy (and safe) way to completely reset all the forscan settings back to stock? In case I messed with something I didnt realize.
I did my best to replace all the modules to stock that I touched, but still did not fix it. Makes me think I made some change I did not reset or realize. So would like to start from scratch.

Is it possible to get a second free extended license, after your original runs out? I thought I’d read that you just put in a new request and it generates a new key, but it doesn’t seem to be working for me.

Damn. That might have been the solution! I just changed/fixed it and they are not currently going off. Will have to hit it with some water or wait for it to rain, but this might be the winning solution. Thanks!

If I recall that mode forces 4x4 and rear locker on and can't turn off. Not useful for general usage.

There should be a big warning saying that. I almost died when the deep snow turned to solid ice. I was not aware the rear end was locked up and so I almost lost control. Should not do that on hard surface dry either. Agreed.

Is there a way to get rid of the chiming for the “no keyfob deteced” seems ford did an update recently that changed the sound of it to be even more annoying than it previously was. Ive looked through forscan and couldn’t find anything that seemed would work.

Looks like I'm following this thread again in hopes someone figures this out. I got current with FDRS about a month ago, and this new "no key detected" nag screen and sound is annoying AF.

Hey @Livnitup with some assistance/encouragement from Jesse and others, I think we discovered that if you write 7E0-162-02 XXXX XXXX 01XX in the PCM, this will disable the active air dam. So either disable it on the truck currently, or for many of us who have it removed, gets ride of the silent DTC it always throws since it can't see the actuators anymore.
