Hey @Livnitup with some assistance/encouragement from Jesse and others, I think we discovered that if you write 7E0-162-02 XXXX XXXX 01XX in the PCM, this will disable the active air dam. So either disable it on the truck currently, or for many of us who have it removed, gets ride of the silent DTC it always throws since it can't see the actuators anymore.
Yeah, I concur with that and I've updated the PCM spreadsheet with some new definitions that shows exactly that and I'll add this to the common spreadsheet as well

Also: once the newest IPMA update available in FDRS goes mainstream via OTA then I'll consolidate the IPMA spreadsheets in a single sheet since 2021-23s will be at the same level. For guys that already did the update you can reference the sheet called IPMA (BC 1.4).

Is this the first time the info to make the BC 1.4 changes are being made public or have they been hiding in plain sight for some time now?

If you've done the most recent IPMA update in FDRS then your truck should've already been configured for 1.4 as part of the update process and that IPMA spreadsheet would be applicable to your asbuilt values.

Ahh ok... My last IPMA update was a couple weeks ago with FDRS then someone was nice enough to help me out with the necessary changes to get BC 1.4 going. I guess I missed that another IPMA update has been released making 1.4 available to all. This is great news that everyone can now experience how much better this BC release is in every way possible.

You still need to make the changes in Forscan to get the features, like lane change assist and predictive speed assist.
They have been hiding in plain sight...I'd recommend checking the Mach-E forums they were discussed pretty openly there.

I wouldn't say hiding in plain sight; those features wouldn't have worked on a 2021-22 unless you had been running 23 IPMA firmware prior to the most recent IPMA update in FDRS. I know this because I had put '23 firmware on my 21 a while ago and was running BC 1.2 at the time.

I think there have been quite a few running the newest ipma from updating via FDRS going back to the end of Jan but didn’t know the Forscan changes to make to enable the rest of the 1.4 features like in lane repositioning and changing. Now they can with the information in the sheet, which is great news for everyone. That’s all I was getting at.

Once the IPMA OTA goes out mainstream I'll add those to the common spreadsheet.

Hello. Information for users outside the US. In Forscan, in the IPMA section, you can activate recognition of signs specific to your region. I tried it in Ukraine, it works. Sorry for my English...
Thank you again @Drevnr, no more silly American speed signs, just simple Aussie ones ?

Looks like I'm following this thread again in hopes someone figures this out. I got current with FDRS about a month ago, and this new "no key detected" nag screen and sound is annoying AF.

This is great info. I hope this clears up this message I’ve been getting since doing all my updates with FDRS.

Using psi for tires though? ?
PSI is better for tire pressure, look at the boost gauge for comparison. With PSI you're only 2 digits, vs 3 digits for pascal. Bar could be used but that needs a decimal.

For those with short values, they may prefer cm to inches. Larger numbers can be more assuring :ROFLMAO:
