Before you get started watch videos and read his instructions cause you do not wanna mess something up cause it will take time to fix it!
ALWAYS save the as built files for every module you are planning on changing. It will be easier to fix something if you done it wrong cause you have the original number/letters saved. I also take pics just to be safe.

This! And will add to that what I do. So after I make changes and I’ll let some time pass to make sure there are no negative issues from what I’ve changed and all is working well. I’ll then go in and re-save all the modules that I made changes in so that if there is an ota update or I do FDRS updates and it clears out the mods I’ve done them it’s just a quick reload to get everything back where I had it. Over time once you make changes in forscan your truck will report it back to the mothership and your “as built” files will update but it’s hard to say when that happens so this is just what I do to make life easy.

Same! But if you save another “as built” make sure you don’t erase your “original as built” name the new one mods or something similar. Always keep your original as built handy.

This is good advice , I will definitely read and watch tutorial before I tinker around with the brain boxes ?

Also worst case scenario if something did get messed up you can go to motorcraftservice.com and download your complete “as built” files. But you should be fine. ?

Your AsBuilt will eventually get updated with whatever you changed. I know this to be true for 21+ trucks.

I seem to remember that Glare Free is not available for 2023 F150 Raptor. My lights seem to behave strangely, lights move around when first turned on. Also shift left and right when turning.
They are supposed to do this on start up and when you turn left or right. adaptive headlights is what they are called I believe.

Also you should have LED Projector headlight so you should be able to do glare free I believe. Post in the FORScan post and ask and maybe someone can confirm it.

Thanks! This is a main reason for me getting forscan and the ex in the near future. I just got the Vlinker fs and lite for the on the fly diagnostics.

I had that screen on multiple times to check the tiedowns and suspension on a lightweight kayak/gear trailer over 4k miles this summer. That black box drove me nuts.

You guys have probably put up enough beta like this that a software no talent like myself can avoid brickin' the truck and turn on and off a few bells and whistles.

Based on limited reading and searching I am guessing the full suite will reset bms, allow me to do brake fluid and pad changes, things ford has made it harder to DIY without resetting codes or running tests, etc.
