I have always loved my lil fruit cup Area 51 blue truck 😍, calling it an Active would be icing on the cake 💋

Come on boys, hop in my Area 51 Blue Active Rainbow Supreme edition, I don’t bite ;)
Show us that poster you modeled for again!

Wow. Just curious if your parents were boomers. If so I guess you don’t think too highly of them. Are they at least worthy of watching and raising the grandkids so their kids can afford to buy a nice shiny new F150? And maybe something flashy for the wife to drive.

LOL! Such an overreaction! No need to be so melodramatic gramps, no one's threatening to change the Cracker Barrel sign again.

I'd be ok if this thread ended with this 👆 (It would have been much better if it had started with it!)

That’s good! I like it. Thanks for answering the question by not answering the question. Can we move on now? I know I can.

I did answer your question by making fun of you for even asking it in the first place. You took a fairly benign statement about a generation having it easy and turned it into some nonsense about not thinking highly of my parents. My parents don't go around acting like some sort of poser hardasses for merely being born in the 50's. If they did I'd probably make fun of them too

Should I take your statements as projection that means all of you boomers constantly whining about millennials must all hate your children?

Get a grip.

And on that note, I let you have the last word. For the sake of the forum, can we move on now?

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ This certainly wasn't an interaction I went looking for. If you're done then we're done.

Yes, and you can change it to whatever you like using Foreskin. Many people are recommending setting it 98%, just to be sure. But only after doing five BMS reset cycles.
Not only does the badge change to “Inactive”, but the truck shuts down and a warning light comes on saying, “we are stopping you now, hope it’s safe”.
Hehehe…

As boomers, we grew up hearing the stories first hand from our fathers. A visceral sense for the horrors of war and the damage that fascism can do was instilled into us directly by the generation that fought against it. In my bedroom right now I have the insignia and brass from my dad’s Naval uniform, reminders of the horrors he lived through. We learned the history of WW2 first hand from those who lived it.
And I had and have the same stories and memorabilia. Neither shaped my life any more or less than it did yours.

Boomers and their obsessing with appearing "manly" will never get old.

no need to obsess, ye silly snowflake. If it's there, it shows through, while attempting to "appear" shows it's absence.

I don't give a ff what they call it. That's not why I buy a particular vehicle.
We'll ho0ld you to that when the '27 has the "Floofy Woofy" trim . . .

In the 80s, the entry ford care was an "L", followed by "LX" and "GLX". GLX was eventually changed to LX

Trucks wer L, XL, and XLT, with the X never dropped from XLT.

TIL baby boomers went to WW2.
'tis a small matter of a couple of decades of time travel. Your generation wouldn't understand.

:teehee:

Wonder what the “Passive” will look like?

Other than this guy creating this post for rage bait, I don't see anywhere on the internet other than this forum to corroborate the "active" rebranding. There is a possibility this was all to get everyone's panties twisted.

We live in a time where people think if we come up with new names for things, they'll sound more intelligent, or at least less bad: "Unalive" instead of "dead", "gaslight" instead of "lie". Now "Active" is supposed to sound more appealing than "XLT" and all the legacy that label brings.

According to feminized millennials raised by single moms to deem anything masculine as either a joke or "toxic" lol

And fwiw I'm neither a "boomer" nor do I care for Fords marketing motivated renaming scheme of a hustle
