high quality music definitely helps over radio or standard streaming quality. I use Apple Music and have the 1TB phone option with all of my music downloaded in the highest quality. You could go even a step further with FLAC files but most of what I listen to is difficult to source and I can’t be bothered with tracking what can be down anyway.

And like others have said, it definitely helps to hard wire your phone and not use wireless AA/ CarPlay. I have that option completely disabled

Yes, I first connected normally (wireless) and played a song. Then I disconnected my wifi (yelled at me that it would disable carplay) and plugged in a cable. After starting the same song I unplugged the cable just to make sure the music stopped (It did) and played the same song. Tried 5 or 6 different songs. Even went back and forth a couple times. No difference I could tell.

the biggest giveaway you are using wired CarPlay is it doesn’t show your battery life on the left when wired.

I believe the setting I disabled was wireless app projection to completely disable it.

Hi res lossless will not be noticeable in the f150. You need some serious audio setups to make the extra data and storage worth it.

I did the DSP through the FDRS and it's night and day difference! I use sirius and it sounds great to me. Much more bass and more evenly spread out sounds, not just from the front center, even the headrest speakers got better.

I connect my iPod, yes an iPod, and I think mine sounds pretty good. I can tell the difference when I listen to SiriusXM

I want to do this with Apple Music but I can’t stand the interface. I’m so used to Amazon music now. I tried Apple and can’t get used to the layout and structure. It doesn’t seem to line up with what I want to listen to.

Has anyone replaced just the front 6 component speakers (door, dash and pillars) and heard a noticeable difference? One of my front right speakers is blown and another is buzzing so I was just going to replace all 6 up front. Thinking Kicker KSS369 for the front speakers and possibly some new Kicker KS 6.75" 2 way speakers in the rear just because I'll be doing some speakers. Thoughts on below?

I actually followed his lead from another forum and chased him down over here. I bought this same amp and dis the same speaker upgrade he did and it is night and day different. No exageration, no lie, night and day different.
