@FaaWrenchBndr ……Thanks for that info. Even though the price is punitive I guess I’d consider purchasing it. I didn’t know real ones were available.

yeah, it sucks Ford doesn’t provide them. I’m kind of with you. I like to have a paper copy in the truck, not some electronic crap that may not be accessible.

This is the first vehicle I've ever had, that didn't have a hard copy in the glove box.

But I think this one is so big, a hard copy sized to fit the glove box, would have printing so small, it'd be unusable (for me).

One nice thing about the electronic variety, is they're searchable. I mess around with old tractors as a hobby and have, or create, hard copies for them but most often, I go to the electronic versions first, just for that utility.

My Wife's 2024 Bronco Sport has a hard copy but it's index, is pretty sad.

Well, DUH, if your battery is dead then you really don't need it do you? ?
It was just a shot at the battery issues many have been having. Hard to figure out how to boost it if you don't know and the book is in the magic box in the dash.

Gotcha, my bad, I’m just not used to being around anyone who needs instructions on how to jump start a vehicle.

You have conquered life once all the following conditions have been met:

A) You have read and understand your owner's manual
B) You can change your own oil and a flat tire
C) You know how to jump start or replace the battery
D) You convinced the wife/girlfriend to go with you on a camping adventure despite the fact you have a shitty make shift bathroom set up thingy-ma-bobber.

Does this mean I will never conquer life?

I hate camping. Being outdoors? Yes. Sleeping there? That's a hard pass for me dog. My ancestors didn't struggle for centuries so that I can sleep in the hot on the ground.?

Be safe. Push hers first for good measure!
?

Besides, as the pictograph clearly shows, it's an anti-glare system for when driving into the sun. Push it, and the sun sets early.

E) you convince them to both come on the same trip.

Anyway, the F-150 buttons are easy.

The Maverick has a jellyfish launcher. Do you have any idea how hard it is to reload without getting stung?

It doesn’t and if you need instructions to do a jump start on your F-150 then you should absolutely not attempt it! ?

Aah, but who says you have to camp only when its hot outside and only in the woods? I hate hot and humid and mosquitos too. I don't camp in those conditions. I chase 70 degrees and only camp in places where its favorable. There are low tech solutions to stay comfortable. I'm out here to live my best life and enjoy, not suffer. For me the appeal is waking up with beautiful views, enjoying new experiences, but most importantly getting away from toxicity that is the demand of everyday life. The other R of R&R. What you really want to achieve is a balance of peace and quiet and social interaction. Too much social interaction and you get overwhelmed. Too much loneliness and you begin to crave attention. Camping can be whatever you want it to be, not just in the backwoods with mosquitos where its humid and miserable. Camp only in places where you would like to be and what time you would like to be there.
