Well I just found something that I REALLY miss from my 2011 F150. On that truck you can left the rear seat and there were hooks underneath. They are perfect for hooking the handle of grocery bags to keep them from rolling around. Never had a problem.
I even had these S hooks that I'd use to keep gallon paint cans from moving around.

Tonight my wife asked me to pick up a few things and I realized my new to me 2023 doesn't have any hooks. I tried to position things in a way they wouldn't move but I ended up with a gallon of vinegar and 2 jars of pickles rolling around. Thankfully nothing leaked.

So I come here asking for advice. How do you keep your groceries from rolling around. I don't want to keep a crate or box in the truck. Next time, I'll probably loop some rope over the headrest to hold the bag handles and keep things from moving around.
I'm curious what other people are doing?

Well, I get the boss to get them in her little Kia ?

But how about a bungee strap (elastic with hooks), connect one hook to an outboard child restraint tie down, string the bags through and then the other hook to the other outboard child restraint tie down?

We been using collapsible box bags for about three years. We got them from Kroger, but googling for images, there are other brands that look similar.

Now we have some four compartment foldable organizer deal. It’s kinda like what UGA posted above, but a four compartment. For the bed, I have a bed organizer, a removable bungee net with three compartments and I normally have at least one if not, two milk crates

This is what I use. I got these specifically to address the scenario you described. They clip to the headrest post, and are unobtrusive. Cheap. Work great.

I have something similar that @powerboatr posted left over from my previous Jag SUVs. Also keep a collapsable crate in the bed.

The underseat storage is perfect for groceries as long as you fill it side to side. I find the floor or that thing to be a bit too slippery, so I used bungees to create partitions, if needed. I also drop one side of the 60/40 rear seat to keep things relatively stationary, depending on what I have in there. I keep meaning to put that sticky shelf liner material in there like I have in the drawers of my tool cabinets.

I have a truxistm bed divider and a storage crate that can collapse but I always leave it open and ready.
It's also crazy to me that trucks and even cars don't come with an easy way to store groceries. Everyone gets groceries. The storage crate was in my previous SUV for the same reason but it moves around even less with the bed divider.

Since she does most of the grocery shopping and her old Jeep and new Bronco Sport, have hooks in the back, its a non issue for me but I do wish they hadn't switched sides for the jump seat on the truck.

My 01 F150 was on the driver's side and I found that much more useful.
