That makes sense. If he only needs to make configuration changes then the free version is fine. If he’s sideloading software into individual DIDs, then you have to have Beta.

What threw me in your original post is when you said you can get a free version of FORScan by joining the forum. You can’t join the forum without paying, so it isn’t really free.
Really? I don't remember paying when I joined, but that was years ago. Is that something that was implemented somewhat recently, or did the combo of my age and the many years of marijuana use burn the brain cell that stored that bit of memory?

Edit: In this particular case, no side loading is necessary, so the beta version is not needed. At this point, it's a copy and paste message from my brain that just naturally comes out. Lol

If I recall correctly, the FORScan folks started restricting new registrations to paid users in April. But I could be wrong about when they started. In any event, this limitation is why they give you an invitation code to the forum when they send you your activation code for the extended license. https://forscan.org/support/show_content.php?lang=en&issue=forum_account_how_to_register

Hello all, may I please have an update check? And what’s coming? 1FTFW1E81PFB36934

just picked up my truck Wednesday and excited to see what’s coming. I’ve connected it to WiFi and set the update schedule. Not sure if that matters.

If I wanted to buy it, I could get it for our cost which is MSRP of $113k or somewhere around there. I can afford the payment, but I refuse to pay $30k in interest charges based on current rates. Not wise to buy it cash either. I'd rather keep money in the bank seeing that there is a possible recession about to hit. Car sales are down.
Yeah it wasn't the wisest decision to buy my used truck in April with rates high then too. I could afford a Raptor R but I have zero interest in driving a pickup truck that costs as much as a house. ?

Any OTA activity showing up yet?
Or codes since truck refuses to start with FordPass now but does with remote.

Good afternoon rugedraw. Can you tell if the dealership has progressed at all with fixing my truck? Tomorrow is 66 days without my truck and I'm starting to think it is never coming back home and I will be driving a Ford Edge service loaner forever.

I’ll stick with the tremor that I got below invoice and my decent apr.

Yep.
KingRanch Powerboost built to exact spec, X-plan, good trade-in, and 2.9% on the difference.
I'd have to declare myself currently hand-cuffed from any kind of impulse purchasing.

I don't mind though. It's a nice truck to be stuck with. ?

She knew what she had. People with above average money have weird tendencies. They are very impulsive and just buy things because they can.
I kinda had a feeling so thats why I had to ask, must be nice, new month new car ?

If you want the Beta version now, which is the version that allows you to update modules in Forscan, you need to be a paid license user to download it. You get a invitation code then to register on the forum as a paid user which gives you access to the beta download thread. You can still get the free version no problem like you always have.

I’d be interested to see if I’m up to date on OTA updates like the app says, thank you.

No rush, would be awesome if VIN 1FTEW1EP5NFA15257 could be checked for any updates potentially out there. Purchased in Dec of 2021. Haven't received an update since delivery.

It’s been over a month since my truck was updated at the dealer, and it’s still showing that updates are available. And the maps won’t update (with updates showing) until Sync updates. My VIN is 1FT8W3BT9NED70545. Any idea what might be causing either the updates to not complete, or the mothership to not update the web page?

Hey everybody I’ve got a 2022 F150 Larist that I purchased back on 12/31/22. I’ve gotten two software updates since but none since last January.
I’m fairly certain I’m far behind but don’t know why or how to fix it. I’m in Atlanta and just looking to get on track

thank you!
