To the folks who devote so much time and effort on a 296 page (!!) thread, many sincere thanks!! I haven't had an update since who-knows-when, so would one of you kind folks please check my VIN?

You are not completely up to date via OTA, but not very far behind, either. You are missing the 6.x.x updates and maybe a few other priority updates, but nothing to be concerned about, IMO.

Your truck is pretty behind and has no recent OTA history. Remind me tomorrow to ask Jesse about your truck to see if you do have any config issues. I do not want to ask him now because he is currently helping with another member's truck that is a total and complete cluster fudge.

No rush, would be awesome if VIN 1FTEW1EP5NFA15257 could be checked for any updates potentially out there. Purchased in Dec of 2021. Haven't received an update since delivery.

You truck is even more behind than @Davidwnuc and seems to have never gotten an APIM OTA since it was built. Again, I would need to ask Jesse to look at your truck. Just need to some time to not bombard him with so many cases at the same time.

It’s been over a month since my truck was updated at the dealer, and it’s still showing that updates are available. And the maps won’t update (with updates showing) until Sync updates. My VIN is 1FT8W3BT9NED70545. Any idea what might be causing either the updates to not complete, or the mothership to not update the web page?

I would need to check in FDRS to see if you have any more pending updates, but that would have to be later when I get home to my laptop. It can take weeks or months for the truck to Sync up with Ford's servers and that message to disappear. If your truck is working fine, I would not stress it.

Hey everybody I’ve got a 2022 F150 Larist that I purchased back on 12/31/22. I’ve gotten two software updates since but none since last January.
I’m fairly certain I’m far behind but don’t know why or how to fix it. I’m in Atlanta and just looking to get on track

I don't think there is anything wrong with your truck. You just aren't getting any love from the mothership. There is nothing to "fix". If you want to be fully updates, you can with a Mongoose. Lmk if you want me to add you to the waiting list to borrow one of mine.

I just reconnected my truck to home WiFi and when I took out the trash my truck was on. I had my key in my pocket and I think walking past it caused it to shutoff.
Anyway yes you can waitlist me for loaner program.

I have a 21 powerboost. Looking to see the status of OTA updates. I can't seem to enable the automatic upgrades option. Mentioned this to service department last time I went for routine maintenance and was told to keep trying once I was connected to my home network. LMAO! Gee, thank you guy.

Last OTA you got was 4.2.1 in May. You are up to date, but not ridiculously behind. The updates you are missing do not give you anything new. I don't think you need to be worried about anything. You just haven't gotten any love from Ford's servers in a bit.

You're on the dreaded Sync where OTA's go to die. The last time your truck got an update was 2.5 years ago and that update broke the OTA process. You need to convince your dealer to manually update your APIM and/or diagnose it as faulty and replace it. Tell them your truck has not received an update in 2.5 years and that your truck has software from 2020 on it. Good luck.

Please post pics of the entire "about sync" screen in the settings menu of your touchscreens. The info there is needed in order for him to check for any config issues preventing your trucks from getting updates.

Your truck has no configuration issues and updating with FDRS would be straight forward. I have no explanation as to why the mothership has not sent you any OTA's, but there is nothing wrong with your truck.

Bought the truck in August '22, got an OTA update on Jan. 31 '23. Last time I checked several months ago it looked like my truck was behind by one update but was nothing really important. So I saw no reason to pursue any further and figured I'd just wait my turn.
